  1. Any news on the hitches? Haven't heard anything back.
  2. In 11 they went to a different fuse style. At this point can probably only get them at a dealer. As changing fuses isn't a common thing, I know we got caught on the first one awhile back, and also had to steal one from a stock vehicle. This was done to save space in the fuse boxes/keep sizing small. There ARE spares in the fuse box.
  3. I've been waiting since april, TOTALLY unexceptable. There is no reason it should take this long. Pay extra for a tow package, and can't use it.
  4. It doesn't save you money by letting dirt past, and causing accelerated engine wear. Used to use them, won't anymore, after seeing the issues.
  5. Now theres a guy who knows what he's talking about. "treat the driver" love it ! And so true.
  6. They had a bad run of heads, valve sealing issue. I doubt you'll have any more problems.
  7. Did I not say the seal was revised? And the diff unit was changed it 2011. Updates for parts/issues/problems don't happen overnight. Vehicles get driven so many different ways and in differnt conditions, its very hard to find all problems before they are released.
  8. I just guess I don't consider a simple seal leak , as "broke down" .........Its a simple easy fix, and no big deal really.
  9. You guys that think you are getting a mileage gain are funny. Immmmmmpossible. But whatever makes ya happy :-)
  10. What are you not happy about? Did they not fix it? No one makes a perfect car. Not sure why people expect zero problems, never going to happen.
  11. Just put a front input seal in the rear diff on my Journey this week. Started leaking at about 5k. As far as I can tell this only effects 11 and 12s. They were previously sealed with no seals available, accept axles seals, had to put whole unit in. Now an input seal is available. Its been updated and is about twice as wide, and now double lip. Must be a recent update, as mine was built march 2012. Just thought you might like to know there was an updated part
  12. R/T exhaust is no different than reg. AWD exhaust. As for the drone and shifting issues, no fix as of yet, but I have been told its being worked on when I talked to engineering on friday. Droan may be a flash, and/or something changed and/or added to exhaust. Not happy with the shifting of mine, but no sense pulling it apart, as its a software calibration issue.
  13. Have not seen this issue on a 12.......maybe a really early build 12?
  14. I put the same ones in, bought off ebay, WAY better than stock. Fills in road much better on dark roads
  15. They would come out/up to it, and windows would be down........and they had no idea why. Most didn't know it was there, no one ever reads the owners manual
  16. What codes is it setting? Haven't had one do that at our dealer.
  17. Its just a seal, I wouldn't be concered, just get it fixed. Cars DO break down, none are perfect no matter what people say.
  18. They turned this off in the 12s because people complained about it
  19. Not a smart idea to swap parts cause they "look" the same, can cause alot of damage that way.Journey BCM is probably full of codes now. Journey and Caravan use differnt data bus systems, so switches are differnt, even if optioned the same. Now that said, if you got a Journey switch, with auto options it should work. The switch is differnt, its not a feature u can turn on and off. And there is a device that can go in a change some things, the factory scanner, Witech, its about $7500 plus subscription :-) There will never be an aftermarket device that can do the same.
  20. I had mine on the hoist last week, rotating tires, and noticed mine is leaking between the front and rear case halves. Between the front elec clutch housing and diff housing. Gotta put dye in it, and see which seal it is. Not leaking as bad as yours, but still wet
