  1. With the help of Homelink support via their 800 number, it is solved. They did verify that there are steps missing from the manual that may or may not effect certain kinds of openers. Here's what they had me do and it worked: 1. reset Homelink by holding 2 outer buttons for 20 seconds 2. hold original transmitter next to homelink button to be programmed and press both buttons simulatneously. 3. hold both buttons until homelink does a fast blink 4. release both buttons 5. press and hold homelink button until light goes solid. Viola, all works.
  2. I would agree with what you say, although, for us that are 6'2" or taller, there isn't much room for adjustment.
  3. I thought the panaromic drop-down mirror on the overhead console would be great for watching my kids in back while driving. But I have now come to realize that it blocks half my view out the rearview mirror. Not very safe, Dodge.
  4. The manual says the U-Connect mic is in the rearview mirror, which we can see on the right, next to the auto-dimmer on/off switch. I don't think it's that.
  5. Hi again, 1 day old Journey and we're having a heck of a time programming the Homelink for our two garage doors. I've been to the Homelink website and searched around the web abit, but no resolution so far. Maybe a call tot heir customer service is next, but wanted to try here first. I have a '04 Impala that has Homelink also and that had no issues with programming when I got it. I did all the steps in the manual and off their website - - reset the Homelink by holding the 2 outside buttons for 20 sec. - pressed the "Learn" button on my rolling code Craftsman garage door openers - within 30 sec. I was pressing the Homelink button twice for 2 sec. and then a third time for 2 sec. - I even tried resetting the openers codes by holding the Learn button for 6 seconds and erasing all the transmitters. - All of my other transmitters and Homelink works. Any ideas?? TIA, Mike
  6. New Sandstone Journey just received yesterday from order. We are trying to get through all the programming of gadgets, which seems like a daunting task in itself, and we came across this little item. It appears to be a camera or sensor of some sort located directly between the 2 front courtesy lights in the overhead console. We can't find any mention of it in the manual. We have a RET radio with U-Connect. I've attached a photo (I know the quality is bad, but you can see what I'm talking about). What is this? TIA, Mike
