Yes that picture he posted didn't quit look like the end of the inner tie rod so he may have more problems that we don't see..................well only thanks to Covid and the Flu b virus ( also have all the shots for both virus as my wife has an immunity problem )Fri night started feeling bad went to ER sat morning and then sleeping for an hour then coughing then going back to sleep and then waking up again every hour for the last 2 days and nights,, ended back up at my Fr Monday morning my throat felt like a raw piece of meat, he prescribed some steroids treatment as I could hardly even swallow a small amount of water at the time, feeling better as of now BUT he said probally be a week before I get to be feeling better...the Dr did say that this Covid virus that the sore throat was a big issue for it

I don't have AWD but it looks like you have some leakage from the darker spots around the unit so even if you replace the bolts using some blue thread locker ,you might still be low of fluid of what ever kind... you mentioned sand in the wheel weights? there has been a lot of discussions on work being done on this unit klook under the forums for info

guess that is why I didn't see a video on the 2.4 did see one on the 3.5 2010 tho and I agree on NOT using most aftermarket parts off amazon and most part stores for the same reason yes cheaper but as you said most don't work as good or last as long as OEM.

welcome to the group,,that said sorry to hear of this problem and sounds like you have a good bit of knowledge of what to check to find this out with no codes,,,have you checked the wire harness where it would be connected for the 2 wires that would have been cut off or rewired?hopefully dodge will respond back quickly on your problem and please report back on what you find out to be your solution,,for others that might ever have this problem,as I watch a couple of videos on it I have the 3.6 but my daughter had the 2.4 in her patriot as her mail vehicle and it was a real good workhorse eng for her,,only use the OEM plugs ( only about $15-20) for it tho and change them out every 30 k and no other problems till she got rid of it except having all the wheel hubs replaced as wheel

i believe you need someone to lift the hatch from the outside while you are turning the screw

Had mine ( 2014 crossroad)done at the dealership at around 60 k and then had it done again at around 100 k when i had my plugs and coolant service done as well not cheap at the dealership but i have the lifetime warranty so i wanted it on record that they had done it...I wouldn't rec anyone to do a flush

I don't have AWD but CV axles will clunk or make noise when turning as well,,there will be more qualified answers to come to you from here we have some good mechanics on here,,,but for your question on what yrs your local dealership parts dept will be the quickest and most dependable answer to that question..good luck

I doubt that this will help as the few folks that have mentioned a problem that only a very few have asked about and then never came back with their solution,if it was the clamps there would be a huge following about this problem,but I have seen some you tubes about the clamp vs clamp comparisons

2014, 162 k, on the clock and everything still OEM org on the front end,a lot depends on how to drive and where you drive and how you take care of your vehicle, I did replace the upper rear lateral links since the OEM are non adjustable and went aftermarket with adj ones, never had a problem with our 2011 with them but the 2014 was wearing their tires a lot

I was reading up on that oil filter but doesn't it have a certain way/or delay to start the journey each time to pressure the unit with oil?

he never replied back on whatever he found out to be the problem, with car blogs replying back on your solutions are what make it better for others to fix their problems...pleas report back on what you find to be your solution to your problem,,, dealerships have the best knowledge about our journeys ...YES they cost more but work is warranted and sometimes cheaper than using a parts cannon,,,good luck and welcome to the group

as I said had the front end alignment and I had the mechanic check the brakes ,wheel hub bearings and struts out as well ,also its not the struts as actually they had been replaced last yr at the Nissan dealership

I just bought a K-N cabin air filter yrs ago, just pull it out wash it rinse it off let it dry a bit spray it with some air freshener then reinstall it and I do it twice a yr. saved me a bunch as well as the K-N air filter for the eng which I bought for my 2011 journey ( 70K)and then transferred it to my 2014 (presently 162 K) I clean and recoil it every oil change which is around every 6k or around 2 times a yr

I have a 2014 and even tho I have the Mopar lifetime warranty on i, I had the trans fluid changed at around 60-65k and then again around 100k if I remember right while they were replacing the plugs and also the coolant replacement, yes kind of pricey at the dealership but got it done right and on record just in case of problems..only makes since to change it out reg. To me a flush just doesn't make sense without changing the filter but its up to whoever and whatever they believe in

so all the problems started after the replacement of the starter? that is where I would start looking for your problems might be as easy as a bad or one that is loose, could be wires going to the starter shorting out as well, did you replace the starter or did you have a shop do it? to many things going wrong at the same time right after the starter install. might want to have them recheck what they did? also have your BATTERY load checked and also the alternator checked out at your local part stores and they can even check the starter out as well at least that is a free check as well good luck and please report back on what you find out to be the problem for others to learn from also how old is your battery? OEM? good clean and tight connections? also check the battery jump connectors up top of the engine as who ever might have disconnected it there from the battery during the starter install and didn't tighten them back up,you would be surprised people come here asking about electrical problems and then come back and say it was a loose battery connection,or dirty ,or a almost bad battery do the free cheap check first before using the parts cannon...P.S.
