  1. Gald you like it! Our family loves the space the Journey has to offer, with 11mon old twins, we nned all the space that can get!
  2. Nice to see and hear good things! As for ride, I love the floaty/big car feel, in time you will get used to it.
  3. Sorry to hear of all the issues. I too have suffered the brake issue, Front brakes have been replaced twince by Chrysler, and the rear have been replaced twince, once by Chrysler and once by me. After replaceing the rear brakes myself, I am lesss then thrilled with the design of the rear brakes. I will tell you that I will not buy anouther Journey, these brakes just plain suck and nothing has been done to fix the issue. My Journey has 24,000 miles at this point. Other then that, I have been more then happy with my Journey, I love the ride, power and room for our twin boys and all their stuff that needs to carted around. And I love the look of the Journey....Almost three years that I have had mine and she still looks damn good! People can;t belive me when I tell them it is a 2009.
  4. I may have them check that. Thanks for the input!
  5. Well, just had the front brakes done ...again 19k miles! New rotors and pads, hopfuly they will last a bit longer then 10k. So the new brakes fixed the steering whel shake and all was smooth for a few weeks and now the back are making a hard viberation at high speed! I had the rear brakes done at 3600 miles..... I sware this thing and brakes!!!
  6. Nice too see you are enjoying your Journey!
  7. Very cool! can't wait too see pic's!!
  8. Welcome to the site! Nice looking Journey! I like white! (a little biased) and yes there is a lot of space in the car!
  9. Welcome to the site! Price was one of the reasons that we too bought our Journey. And now we have 4 month old twin boys and this car is perfect for all the stuff and car seats!
  10. Welcome to the site! Never had that issue before, need to have the Dealer check that out. Not sure about Canadian models, but US versions have a 5yr 100k mile powertrain warrenty.
  11. THe best I have done with my 09' 3.5 v6 is 26.5 MPG on a trip to LA
  12. Welcome to the site! As for sluggishness, if you are just above 60mph, the trans will only drop to 4th, so it takes some time to get it moving. However doing ablut 55mph and smash the gas and it will jump into 3rd and really get moving! Just a tid bit also if your car has the ESP, truning it off will let the engine rev a bit higher and it feels more powerfull.
  13. I too had got the letter for my 09' RT, however I had the brakes replaced @ 11k miles under full warrenty. No cost. I just filed the letter with all other paper work I have for the Journey.
  14. Welcome to the site! Not sure what radio you have, however if you have a MyGig unite, you purchase a LockPick box that will give you the option to play DVD's while the car is moving. It also opens up other hidden features. I have note tried the option just yet, but I am once iahve some extra money to do so.
  15. Welcome to the site! Not sure if you can USB without changing the head unite, however there are kits avalible to add uconnect(bluetooth) the exsiting stereo.
  16. In that case I would be filing for Arbitraion, that will get their attention.
  17. Glad to hear that your Journey is serving you well!
  18. I realy like the mods! They look awesome!
  19. I did the same to mine, just the front windows to match the back. Looks great!
