  1. I couldn’t tell either. I saw somewhere else that it did. I’ll be sure to update after I get it.
  2. I was planning on doing it myself, so I don't need to worry about the labor. i found a few different ones, but I can't tell which one I need. And there's no real distinguishable differences between any of them so I wasn't sure which one to choose.
  3. I'm having some problems with my liftgate on my 2012 SXT. It was not locking, and long story short I figured out it is probably the wiring harness that is stored inside the rubber boot. I've already repaired the wires once due to my rear wiper not working, but it seems I have another issue now. I have scoured the forum and the internet as a whole, and cannot for the life of me find the wiring harness and rubber boot parts anywhere to just replace them. Would anyone have part numbers for these? It's not like I can travel or go to a dealer right now due to coronavirus and our stay at home orders. Any help is much appreciated
  4. My kid put a CD in the player and now it’s stuck. The eject button works and it sounds like it’s trying to eject. Is there an easy way I can get the CD out or is it stuck in there for good?
  5. I have no idea how old it is. I can tell you I’ve never had it changed in the 3 1/2 years I’ve had the car. How would I go about testing it and what am I testing it for?
  6. I've been having random (what I think are) electrical problems. Driver's window (and only the driver's) is sometimes hard to roll up. I have to pull up hard on the switch (constant problem) Radio occasionally is extremely loud when I turn the car on. Doesn't matter how low the volume is when I turn the car off, it's still very loud when I turn it back on, even though the volume level remains at, say, 4-5. (Intermittent Problem) Cruise control won't turn on at all anymore (constant problem) Climate control randomly turns on or off while driving (intermittent problem) "Back" button on the steering wheel sometimes has to be pressed rather hard to get it to work, and doesn't always register that it is being pressed (intermittent problem) Anyone have any ideas what could cause all of this or what I should look for? I have a '12 SXT.
  7. I have an issue I've never seen before. I have a '12 SXT, and the preset radio stations don't work. I took a video of it, but when I select one of the presets, it just takes me to a random station, not actually the one I selected. Has anyone experienced this before? In addition to that, this happens quite often, but when i start the car, the radio is blaring and the volume level (number-wise) hasn't changed, it's just super loud. I'm tired of this hunk of junk. 8. UPDATE: I spoke with my uncle who used to work on brakes, and he said it is most likely just the quality of brake pads. If they aren't OEM, they're probably garbage. I guess I'll try replacing them again with something of better quality and see what happens.
  9. I recently installed new front rotors and pads on my '12 SXT and now I hear a grinding noise. it only happens when i put maybe 30-50% pressure on the brake pedal, and only when I get under 25 mph or so until i completely stop. The rotors are completely smooth and I have no idea why it could be grinding with brand new pads/rotors. It's definitely coming from the front, so if anyone has any ideas, please share.
  10. So my rear wiper stopped working, and I discovered the wiring that comes out of the body and into the hatch was the culprit. Apparently, this was a common problem with wires getting damaged. Soldered the wires back together and now everything works as it should. However, I cut this rubber boot that was protecting the wires and now I need to replace it. I have had some trouble finding this part and would love for someone to tell me a part number, or even what it is called to help me search for it.
