  1. Just traded the 2014 SE in for a 2018 SE Blacktop. I was looking at an SRT because all of the SE's on the lot were 2.4 L. While he was running the numbers for the SRT, I told him All I needed was the 3.6 and AWD, if he could find an SE with that, I was happy. He said he found on but it was a Blacktop Edition. I told him that was fine and to pull the trigger on that. a bit later he told me he found one for sure that was local and he would have it today. I did all the paperwork last night and picked it up today after work. The only things I don't like are no sunglass holder, no Oh shit handles up front, and no 3 zone climate, but I knew that going in. Pretty happy with it for having it for just a few hours.

    Try eBay

Ebay has been kinda crap for me the last few years, really hit or miss. I used the get a ton of stuff there, hunting, fishing, camping, car stuff. Not so much lately. Thanks.

  3. Fishing with my two youngest. My boy loves to fish, but the girl really LOVES to fish. We went fishing yesterday and she wanted to use my Bang garlic lure spray. I told her yes, but tried to tell her to wait because of the wind. Well she didn't wait and as soon as she sprayed it the wind blew it back in her face, thankfully she had the presence of mind to close her mouth and eyes. I ran over to her thinking she would be upset, but all she said was, "well, at least I won't get eaten by a vampire", then kept right on fishing. That put a huge smile on my face.

There's also a gasket in front of the factory intake inlet that keeps the largest bits of debris out.  The front edge of the hood will keep most water out as well.  After that, suction takes over.  A little bit of water won't cause any problems (these engines work fine in the 90% humidity of Baltimore!).  Just don't open a garden hose into the intake...

Snacka Snacka WHAT?????? I'd agree whole heartedly. Didn't know there were any more of us on this forum(admittedly, I didn't look too hard).

  5. My daughter was driving the Journey today and the check engine light came on. She called the wife, who told her to take it to the dealer and they checked and told her it was a loose gas cap and charged them $132. For whatever reason, they didn't clear the code and told her the light should cut off soon. It didn't and they made a 7 am appointment at the dealership. I get home from work and check the code myself with Torque, sure enough P0456. I tried clearing the code and the app said it cleared it but the CEL is still on. I took it for a long drive hoping this would clear it, but no. Anyone have any idea how long it should take for the CEL to cut off?
