  1. I am aware how nice it is to have integrated. My daily summer driver is an 2013 SRT Dodge Charger with nav. The nav in it is far above any other makers nav that I've ever seen. I inquired because it's a nice feature to have, but for me its not a must have feature. Maybe I'll push the dealership on the topic though to see where it goes.
  2. Thats not what the dealership told me but it wouldn't be the first time the dealership was wrong. Mine is "nav ready" so they say and said $495 to install it. I'll buy a portable garmin for $100 with life time updates before spending that if it was even an option.
  3. If your DJ is nav ready, the dealer can install it for $495. Its just a "software" update.
  4. Congrats on the new DJ. Lookin good so far!
  5. I wouldn't get to excited. Did you test drive the vehicle before purchasing it? I'm sure it's a simple fix, just requires a quick trip to the dealership to get it straight (pun intended).
  6. Not sure what would have changed, but Big congrats on the new ride! I got a 2016 Crossroads plus and couldn't be happier. I nearly purchased a 2014 crossroads almost exactly the same (with a few more options) but the crappy dealership sold it out from under me after we made the deal. Setup to sign papers the next day, then got a call they sold it. Anyways, I'm happy now since I've got nearly full warranty with the 2016. Peace of mind I guess. As far as ride goes, tires can make or brake the entire feeling you have for a car. If the tires are crappy, then the ride will be too. Something to consider. Being that it's certified, my guess is you won't need tires for a while but something to consider down the road.
  7. Today I'm getting the driver/passenger side windows tinted to match the rear windows. I'm curious to what level of percentage you think that is. I want it to match the rear/side windows and I'm guessing 30%. I'll most likely leave it to the professionals to match it but just curious what others have done. I'll post photos tonight once completed. If you guys have any photo's you'd like to share, post them up.

  9. Congrats on a great looking DJ and welcome to the site!
  10. Congrats on the new ride. I recently picked up a 2016 crossroad plus. I know I like mine!
  11. Parts have been ordered and should be ready for install within the next week or so. When I purchased the vehicle, it was advertised with remote start. Well guess what.. it had no remote start. The dealership is stepping up and having it installed for me. Once that's done, it goes in for the backup camera. The particular dealership doing the install won't give me the part numbers but once I get the paper work back after the install, I'll post them for others who maybe interested.
  12. I just picked up a Curt hitch and wiring kit off ebay for $150 shipped. I've not put it on yet, but this weekend I am. It's a class 3 hitch, bigger than I need but it will do the job I need it to do. The listing was for a 2012-2016, so there's a good chance if it was for a 2010, it won't fit or if it does will need modified in some way. When I compare photos, they appear the same.
  13. The fuel filter has nothing to do with the accuracy of the gauge. The sending unit is what reports the volume of gas in the tank. If your gauge is fixed, they replaced the sending unit which probably has a new fuel filter built into it.
  14. Yep, will do. I'll post up details when I have it done.
  15. I've been hunting down the OEM camera and have been told by several dealers that the 11-15 camera won't work in the 2016's so I've not pulled the trigger on one yet. I don't want to get to the dealership and have them tell me it won't work when they go to flash the computer. I do have the 8.4' and the wires should be there although I'm not 100% positive. Thanks for the links. I wouldn't mind installing the parts myself if its 100% compatible and saving a few bucks that way. The Dealership told me about 1.5 hours to install and program. In the end, I didn't/don't think thats to bad of a price and it would be covered under the warranty if dodge does it.
  16. My dealership said there's an oem option and it would cost me a little over $400 for the parts and install.
  17. I just got our 2016 DJ Crossroad plus AWD in Granite the other day and really like it so far. As others I've read have found out after the purchase, I too am missing the auto headlights. I can live without that feature but surely never thought a nearly new vehicle would come with out that option std. Our previous vehicle had backup camera, this one does not. I'm going to fix that soon and have my local dealer install. I've put about 300 miles on it so far and can say it stands above the previous LT2 Equinox v6 AWD we had. This is a second vehicle for us, my daily (summer) car is a 2013 SRT Dodge Charger. The Journey compliments our needs. I just wanted to introduce myself quick since I'm new.
