One time i just left it in reverse to see how much time it takes, and it took me up to 4 full minutes! So you guys think i should go see my dealership? My car is 3 months old!!!

I have a little issue. During the night time, when it is dark, or in a garage and i put my car in reverse, why is my camera blue? I mean, on the screen it is sky blue and it is really really really hard to look at it. It takes approximatly 3 to 4 minutes to adapt and then it comes back to normal... Slowly but surely. Is there something wrong, a common issue or normal?

I think you need the Mygig RBZ if i am right! Correct me if im mistaken! My old journey 2010 used to have the Mygig RBZ!, or, you can buy the Mygig RER (comes with navigation) RBZ is the touchscreen with sirius XM (if eqquiped). You can buy it online, (ebay, http://www.oemautopartsco.com)... PS: ebay is cheaper!, and  it will be a simple PLUG&PLAY instal! Takes minutes.
 

not normal take it back to the dealership since you are covered on the warranty. i really dont like the 10-15 second delay before the camera comes on it should be an instant thing... sometimes if i start it up and shift real quick the camera comes on before the warning does... i bet there is a way to disable the warning instructions. as the engineers that design stuff usually leaves a way to get rid of it..

My 09 camera looks normal at night.  Might have a camera issue starting up..

I wouldn't think that normal. Most people would be in reverse for less than 30 seconds to back the car out.

How can i get rid of the ad bar on the bottom of the page? REALLY annoying.....

@dhh3, yes! DJ used to have the 3.5 V6 for 2009 and 2010. Later on, from 2011 until now, we have the Pentastar 3.6! 3.5 had 235 horsepower, and now as you know, it pumps up to 283 horsepower!

2010 did not have the 3.6 Pentastar which that recall for the head was issued.

So, is 2011 the first year that the DJ got the 3.6?

The C/S reps @ Uconnect are useless. Great suggestion, but I would be talking over their heads with it! I'm not calling them anymore. I'll try and see if I can fix this myself.

In the meantime they are still supplying radios on new vehicles with the old Gracenotes database and presumably paying royalties for each vehicle delivered.
When you chat with them next you might want to ask the CSR to send the suggestion upstairs to eliminate Gracenotes from the firmware or at the very least to provide an option to use embedded artwork - it is unfair to owners to limit the display of artwork on a 2016 vehicle to 5 year old and older music.

I'm certain the code modifications wouldn't be all that complex, since there are public domain libraries of code for this sort of thing.

I wrote what I did because it doesn't hurt to try. Trying to get any help from Uconnect is a waste of time. BTW, Uconnect severed ties with Gracenote. This is why no art displays for any music released in/after 2011.

Hey bro.. the amp is under the passenger seat where the OEM alpine amp was. Its obviously larger but fits under there perfectly.. i will upload a picture later today of it under there. We also ran 4 gauge to the amplifier directly from the battery. apparently its super easy on these cars so long as you don't have a manual... there is a giant rubber plug for the clutch pedal that we went through.
I also figured out the other issue.. apparently there is a Fade disable on the amplifier that was turned on.. then it uses just the front input of the amp to power all 5 channels.. which wouldn't be an issue if you didn't want to fade... or want park assist. once that was turned back off, obviously fade and balance worked as intended and the park assist beeps resumed.
Looking at the OEM enclosure it looks like you could modify it for a 10" sub. i may try this at some point, but i need to stay on the down low a bit with the spending on the car.. the wife is getting a little ticked.. I did have to modify the stock enclosure to fit even this 8" because of depth. it was easy enough to cut and reseal the enclosure.

All Uconnect would tell me is that Album Art MUST be a JPEG. However, Uconnect will not recognize any art from 2011 on. When I get some time, I'm going to go down the list of all art on my SD card, and write down the ones that are missing. I'll scan in the actual CD cover, and save it as a JPEG, and see if I can replace this art with what is already on WMP. Then I'll erase the SD Card, and copy WMP back on it and see if that solves the missing art issue.

There are issues with an iPod. Uconnect only supports up to iOS7.1. I specifically hunted down an iPod with iOS7.1 and still could not get it to work as promised. I can not shuffle all my songs, like on my iPod (I'm using an SD card in the car). I pick an Artist, select Play All and it will shuffle songs from all that Artist's CDs. That's it!
