leave it in drive , let the  transmission do what it's supposed to do, also it's a learning  transmission.

sounds like you need to change the front hubs , if the passenger side is going the drivers side should be changed too.. left hand turns puts more preasure on that hub.  if it was making noise on right hand turns then suspect the drivers side hub the squeak is from the sway bar bushings which is is very easy to fix and cheap.

best way is to raise the car up on jacks and jack stands and push pull pry etc to see what's loose.

ball joints , sway bar end links etc but the growling i bet is your front hub bearings getting worn ... it's not a hard job to your self either ,

find a trusted shop (non dealer) ... but bottom line is your front hub is bad...

You need to load test the battery with the car off . Reading voltage will give a close idea of the battery state of charge but load testing will tell you if its good or not . Any local auto parts stores will be happy to load test the battery .
19v is way way to high . Are you sure of that readimg

and it's always my car has a problem and i don't know what's wrong so it's a lemon...

...has the classic signs of bearings going bad and any mechanic should be able to find that problem ...

Maybe it's time to find a new mechanic ,,, two months is a long time to work on brakes and replace so many things ...brakes are one of the easiest to fix even with abs thrown in the picture.
My only other thought would be the abs controller but if they used a scanner to bled the abs system it should be good.
Also when you bleed are you sure you are getting all the air out and a solid stream of fluid ...
Also might be the wrong master cylinder or booster or connection between them

well finally finished major part of replacing worn out suspension parts on my 2009 journey .
back struts where a major pain , wish I had taken videos but basicly yo have remove the the back inside liner and open up two access places on the inside wheel wells. bottom was not to bad but you have to do a bit of moving things around to get the struts out ...
front struts where pretty easy except having to remove the plastic cowling on the windshield. bottom part super easy two bolts that hold the strut a plate holding brake line and abs sensor and sway bar link .
replace front sway bar bushings and links also which where super easy .
    wish I had made videos
car really rides like a new car (well except for the noise from the tires being cupped on the edegs) .. well worth the effort . total cost was around 250.00
letting my neighbor who works for dodge take in in over the weekend and do a four wheel alignment .
one note the struts up front do not have adjust points , looks like the adjustment is on the lower control arm so I did do mess with the alignment too much but he is trading me work for the alignment so what the hey.
guess I will just put up with the tire noise till I get new ones

Your journey is not charging the. .battery  most likely the  alternator is bad ..

easy to check by by stopping at parts store near you have them test it .

one note, if you replace the alternator be sure to fully charge the  with a    battery charger first as it will be easier on the new alternator

have it put on a rack and checked out . also there are a few videos on you tube explaining various ways to check for noise..  sway bar bushings are common but could anything from brakes ,   struts or control arm bushings dry rotted sway bar bushings and links will make  noise . good luck and post what you find .

look at eric the car car guys videos he has a lot of helpful videos and even though they are not about the journey they can point you to the problem

for what it's worth my 2009 journey has 140,000 miles and makes no noise.

go for it !!!! sure the damage done would NOT be covered under warranty... it's not a 4x4 . the all wheel drive system was meant for slippery road conditions not muddling rock climbing etc ..
of course if you are going to drive that new journey through a mud bog be sure to make a video of it ...

it's a very dependable engine. not a ton of power but properly maintain it will last a long time..  sounds like a neglected engine with no oil changes or pushing harder than it was meant to ...

i always go new with the rotors , they are cheap enough . did the front with new pads and rotors , both wagner for 150.00 . about to do the rears this week and will do they same.

i dont consider brakes , struts and tire's anything more than consumables. i have had great luck with my 2009 beside oil and plugs the only other thing i have had done where all four struts and the brakes ..

i am am very happy with mine

you have to be careful with parts on amazon. there are a lot of cheap parts out there.

rockauto is a good source for parts but i have been more and more getting parts from  http://www.factorymoparparts.net

lots of oem parts at a decent price . also lots of drawings to show what part you need.

I would say what ever brand you are getting from Amazon is not a good brand or cheap knock off Oem part.

i would press for a refund and try another source......
