Next question i heard that some vehicles you can get to the gas tank and fuel filter by lifting the back seat. bfurth Posted June 8, 2017 Report Share Posted June 8, 2017 I changed the fuel pump on my old 2003 Malibu about 3 years ago. The fuel in the tank was as clear as what's in my gas can for my lawn mower. And I just purchased that can this year and have only filled it once.
