Check engine light -- low power then light turns off

My wife's 2015 Journey has about 12k miles. It runs fine and we are happy with it, but it has had the same issue twice now.

The check engine light comes on, and the car shakes when idling. It feel like low power and I swear it was going to die on a freeway offramp last night waiting for the traffic light to change. It has done this twice now. The check engine light comes on and then the car starts shaking when idling. The next day the check engine light is on but by the time we go to the dealer, the light is off and the shaking is gone. The dealer naturally cannot replicate the problem. Any ideas on what the issue is?

Thanks in advance. I don't want my wife and small kids to have to wait on the side of the freeway if their Dodge craps out on them.

I went through this with our 09. Read the code, found out what it was (intake runner valve), cleared it and took it in and they told me that can't do anything unless that CEL is on. I was like come on, read the code. Had to wait till the light was on again to take it in and they would do something about it.
