I now see that the wear marks on the rear disks are about 1/2 inch smaller in dia. that the front pads cause. Is this normal? It looks like they (dealership) put on smaller brake pads. Thoughts? One thing to keep this from ever happening again is to request the old parts. Then you can confirm parts were actually replaced and compare if you think they somehow used different parts. Now I know this cannot be a 100% foolproof method, but it keeps them honest. I think they put on the right parts due to I looked a another 2010 Journey today and it had the same wear pattern on the rear rotors. They have a smaller pad on the rear that they have on the front.
