  1. Yes they did. (4 hrs driving time) It was still doing it in that period but its as stated getting better. I will give it the longer Adaption period (break-in) time before I report back to the forum and the dealership.
  2. Update # 2 Still doing it but at a far less rate than before. I will report back after 1000 km's on the latest repair (600 km's now).
  3. I have a 2010 Journey. After 2 yrs of 2 dealerships trying to fix the same problem I had a dealership in Arizona say it was the 1/2 shaft on the right side (Passenger side). After replacement I didn't drive it 100 yards and knew it was fixed. Have your dealership look at the 1/2 shafts. It fixed my vibration @ 60 mph.
  4. Update So far, keeping my fingers crossed, it seems to be getting better and better (No Shudder 4-5th shift) for last 2 days after about 700 km's. Thanks WesH
  5. Thanks Good advice. I think they put on the right parts due to I looked a another 2010 Journey today and it had the same wear pattern on the rear rotors. They have a smaller pad on the rear that they have on the front.
  6. 2010 Dodge Journey Just had my rear pads & disks changed. I now see that the wear marks on the rear disks are about 1/2 inch smaller in dia. that the front pads cause. Is this normal? It looks like they (dealership) put on smaller brake pads. Thoughts?
  7. Has anyone had this problem and had it fixed. My dealership has had the ECM flashed, torque converter changed and after 500 km's it still does it once in a while (they told me it needed a breakin time of 4 hrs driving) For some reason they will not swap out the auto transmission. They just keep on trying to fix this one. They changed the oil and filter also. Problem has been going on for 2 yrs now. It doesn't do it when I use the Auto-Stick for my upshifts. Shifts are fine then, not shuddering going into 5th gear. Thanks in advance
  8. Thanks everyone. I think I will look for a 2013 or one that was built late in 2012. I understand the brakes were upgraded at that point. (larger in size etc.) I have had my brakes go on my 2010 for the same reason even though they (Chrysler) extended the warranty to 2 years and 40, 000 km's.
  9. I am thinking of buying a 2012 Journey R/T AWD unit with the 3.6 V6. Its fully equiped with the 8.4 bluetooth, radio, nav., backup camera with sensors, sunroof etc with a mileage of 62000 km. What should I be looking out for re: problems recalls. Of note it has the Gold extended warranty on it until Feb. 2017. Any thoughts?
