rockfsh32 Posted March 7, 2009 Report Share Posted March 7, 2009 Finally... Ordered my loaded R/T in late December and finally arrived on Monday 02Mar09!!! It's beautiful!!! Everyone at the dealership was crowded around it, and wanted to see who ordered it. People actually stopped looking at other cars and came over to drool over mine! After thinking I wanted an SXT, my wife convinced me to move up to the R/T and add such things as a sunroof & leather which I would have never done for myself. It's great! I added the booster seats (Family Value Pkg) because I like the elegance of these being integrated into the seats. DVD for the kids, mygig for me. My first opportunity to drive it was a business trip was from Wisconsin to Iowa. Rode like a dream. The leather seats were surprisingly comfortable. Love the satellite radio, don't know how I managed without it for so long I didn't notice any of the problems people have been complaining about on other feedback sites. No clunking on left turns, seats aren't like boards, no rattling or squeaking, shifter location isn't obnoxious, etc. The stereo positioning has been talked about quite a bit, and although it takes some time to get used to it makes sense. If the screen were higher it would be distracting in your peripheral vision (like the GPS option - one of the reasons I didn't get it), and with the controls on the steering wheel, I don't even look at it that much any more.
