USMCgrunt81 Posted September 30, 2023 Report Share Posted September 30, 2023 Hi family I've got a 2014 Dodge journey all-wheel drive and I've got a lot of plank and Clack in the transfer case and I believe I only have front-wheel drive what could be the problem? 2late4u Posted October 1, 2023 Report Share Posted October 1, 2023 well first you need to find out IF you have AWD or FWD first, if FWD check out youtube videos to see if you have a cv axle going bad or also could be a wheel bearing as well, if you have AWD that opens the door to a lot more expensive problems towards the rear,,,check out the forum under Engine/driveline for more info larryl 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

5rebel9 Posted October 2, 2023 Report Share Posted October 2, 2023 My read says an AWD but thinks only the FWD is working. May be the rear differential/viscous coupling having a major problem.
