Dodge Journey Tailgate FUSE location

Recommended Posts

My tailgate doesn't get a signal from the lock button or the remote.

I took off the tailgate cover and I know how to use the screwdriver to unlock the gate from the inside or when the gate is open.  But, before I start replacing parts, I want to check the location of the fuse.

I think it is under the glove box, but I want to know WHICH fuse runs to the tailgate.  I see driver door and passenger door, but no TAILGATE.

Any help would be appreciated.  Thank you, Mike

There is no separate fuse for the lift gate listed in the owner's manual. There is, however, a known and common issue with the wiring harness as it passes from the body to the lift gate. Perhaps there is a single wire issue there effecting your locks on the lift gate.

Check the wires inside the loom going from the body to the tailgate.
