Horn continuously beeping when switched off
Lobitz68 replied to Grippo's topic in Electrical, Battery & Charging
Unfortunately people come on here to fix an issue and never come back. It would be nice if they would report what fixed their issue, but this rarely happens when they aren't active members... Looks like all 4 of his posts are in this thread. -
I clay bar my glass twice a year and wax it... A simple application of spray wax in between keeps it beading off nicely. No need for an additional product IMO.

Not a fan of the chrome myself, but it certainly doesn't look bad... Wait until you get the about 8k miles. Your mileage will be much better than it is now.

True, but a 1500lb trailer should be a cake walk... OP, is it an enclosed trailer? If so, the resistance created plays a role...your owners manual should have the info, but there is a max size that is "allowed". Either way, can't see why it wouldn't be covered...

Being so close and being involved in hockey and lacrosse year round have likely contributed guy.

With a battery that old you should really consider replacing it...

So you're undecided then, eh?

War stripes.... you can buy these all over ebay for next to nothing... Tape off some lines on your car and try it with plastidip first. If you like it, peel them off and buy some more permanent ones.

New Projectors on Ebay from Eagle Eye
Lobitz68 replied to Antdog24's topic in Accessories, Modifications
The blue line is created by the cutoff shield in front of the bulb (the one that gives it a crisp line). This blue line is what creates the blue flicker that people see on high end vehicle and try to replicate by buying blue and purple HID headlights. -

with the number of DJ's around these days I would think you could get rid of them pretty quickly. I just kept mine in case I ever needed them again... -

No. No. Yes. You can purchase a Dodge warranty online as well. You can buy a warranty after the purchase, but there is a limit on how late you can buy it and how many miles... I personally bought the lifetime unlimited bumper to bumper factory warranty on mine. I financed my purchase in the loan, but this is certainly not necessary as they are very affordable.

You guys forgot to include the cost of beer...

I assumed he meant something more along the line of racing stripes... OP, are you talking about racing stripes or pin stripes???

New Projectors on Ebay from Eagle Eye
Lobitz68 replied to Antdog24's topic in Accessories, Modifications
These have already been posted. They are halogen projectors and will not provide a very good output or beam pattern. For the price, you could build some for yourself that no one else has. They would also have the benefit of using a good projector and being able to provide good output and a useful beam pattern... -
It will take some work, but if it bothers you then it seems worth it... Could always have a body shop do it too... It will be paint underneath, so you could always just leave them off.

LED Off Road Light Bar Install

Took long enough!! Looks good. -
Set the trailer level and measure to the top of the tongue. Next, measure the receiver height on your DJ. Using the 2 measurements you should be able to figure out the rise/drop you need for your ball mount. Here is some reading for you: https://www.etrailer.com/faq-ballmount.aspx

Mine is painted (brilliant black) so I just wash and wax them like normal. I think for the other colors it is a vinyl sticker. You should be able to find new ones all over ebay or amazon. Pull those ones off and install new ones.
