Your dealership has to activate them for you. Once activated, you will be able to turn them on or off through Uconnect.

Hello friends, I decided to do it myself, the scheme to open the automatic gate to the garage, put the integrated circuit board behind the mirror and connected to control a button, now just hit and the gate opens and closes, it was cool.

Amigo, você precisa ir na concessionária, não sei pq o seu veio assim, aqui no Brasil já vem com o mapa da America do Sul, eu tentei atualizar para outro mais atual, mas não consegui, passei email para a Garmin e eles me responderam que só na concessionária pode atualizar, também não sei se isso é correto.

Trim panel tool ( to remove overhead console ) but I use plastic putty knife
Pushbutton switch ( radioshack part # 275-644 )
Drill and 1/2 bit
Soldering gun
Solder
Wire stripper
16-18 AWG wire

Mopar/Kicker speaker upgraded has been completed in the rear doors so far. (front system has been ordered)
Just so everone knows, yes Kicker makes a upgrade for the Journey AVP,SE,SXT with stock 6 speakers, but for some reason(Alpine????) they dont seem to advertise it or want anyone to know. If you write to Kicker like I did,they will also give you the same Mopar part number.
77KICK41 is the part number for the rear doors...they are 6x9's....same kit used in most all Chrysler cars...as a matter of fact, when we took off the stock base speaker, it has the same part number stamped on it that were in my 2011 Ram 1500 when i replaced them with this same kit!
After much fussing with the door, we got it off...hint, the door handle trim plate pops off and there are two screws there to remove, then the door comes...need to lift it up to get off..not as easy as it may seem...slow n steady best approach.
I HIGHLY recommed spending the $10 for the door removal tool, it is plastic and works perfectly and you do not damage anything....ie: paint..
As you can see by the pictures it is a direct fit...and the sound is so much better. I have used the Mopar/Kicker upgrade kits in my 2007 300SRT8,2008 Sebring Conv't and 2011 Ram 1500 reg cab. So being famalier with them, i personally like them.The nice thing is that the Dodge wire connector is already attached and you just plug it in...
Will give some pictures and update when the front kit comes in..

First of all you don't have to apologize for your English, you comments were very readable and welcome to the forum. Love the colour combination. That was the colour combination I wanted, but Mrs DoubleO7 wanted a different combo. So she got to select the colours and I got to select the options. A good trade off in the end.
Secondly, awsome photos, not only of your Journey, but of the area you live in. What a specactular place to live. Not only the area, but the photos taken of the Journey, I take are from your house. Love the landscaping.
I am interested in the 'ribbon' (in Canada we call it body side moulding). Were you able to purchase this from the dealer where you bought your vehicle? Or did you have to buy if from an automotive custom shop?

Nope. When I turn off Gracenote in my 2011, I get no album art. I have not gone the extra mile to be sure that my album art is absolutely correct like generaltso, but I do have album art on all my iPod files. I can live without album art so it doesn't make me crazy, but if album art would show reliably, it would be super cool. Instead, the stereo system is just adequate. It plays music and sounds good. When I turn Gracenote on, I get some album art, but some of my file names are goofy and some music is listed incorrectly. For me, I'd rather be able to reliably use the music search function in Uconnect instead of having occasional album art. Play with your stereo. If you discover anything, please let us all know.
Minimally, a Gracenote update is needed from Chrysler. The solution to this problem is to update the Uconnect software to use the image information within the music files unless the Gracenote option is selected by the user. I'm no computer programmer, so I don't know how difficult that is. BUT, from the user's prospective, that is the solution to this problem.
Chrysler is aware of the problem and the user complaints. Hopefully they are working on a solution. And hopefully, that solution will be applicable to our "older" Uconnect systems and not just for the new models. Time will tell. Until then, I have an adequate stereo system. Overall, I love my Journey though.
