I did it. I replaced the 4.3 by a 8.4RB5 with navigator. My local CHRYSLER dealer did it when I took the car for the preventive maintenance

anyone tried to find out why this issue with the on screen temperature setting when changing from 4.3 to 8.4 (radio+screen) ? I have doing some testing trying to "cheat" the configuration but it is still not working. For instance, I mounted the 4.3 radio with the 8.4 screen. Still not working.

it is a 2 row seater, no Auto-Climate feature. Weird thing is, the 4.3 on screen climate adjustment still works perfectly when mounted ! it is just the 8.4" on screen commands the one not functioning. Weird. .........and yes, my wife is still mad at me since then (2 months ago).... On the other hand, what other VOICE COMMANDS do you know besides the PHONE ones ? I had no idea there were more than the ones for the phone. thanks in advance and let's try to solve the on screen temperature adjustment!!! do it for my balls! :gang: regards!

GREAT to know there is somebody else who did this and found the same problem ! check this video I made : The screen commands for Temperature do not work. Only way I found to adjust temperature is by the red and blue buttons bellow. If somebody knows a solution to this, much appreciated ! I installed the lower bezel aswell (with the SD slot) but the result is the same, temperature cant be adjusted on the screen...

I think I can help you with this on. You have to REMOVE the phone completly and reload it.

any idea if the RB5 UCONNECT device has a micro-SD with the pre-installed maps on it ? If not, where are these preloaded maps on ?

Por gentileza, voce poderia dizer para mi o nome do mapa que trouce pre-carregado seu carro ? e NAV-TEQ ? Eu gostaria comprar uma copia de quien seja o fornecedor dos mapas !

Hello everyone! Sorry if this has been posted, I couldn't find this question. I have a 8.4N screen with the Garmin built-in navigator but it only has the maps for Mex/USA/Can. Any idea how can I upload the maps for Argentina that I have on an SD card ? This card is the one I use with my regular Garmin nüvi 265WT. It just says "INCORRECT FILE" all the times I insert the card.
