I purchased a set of red caliper covers that were listed to fit my 2014 Crossroad.  Neither the fronts or backs would fit.  My tire shop played around with them for about two hours and nothing worked.  All 4 continued to rub.  My tire shop mgr seemed ticked off, but he didn't charge me anything.  I bought them on eBay and the seller suggested that I purchase a set of wheel spacers.  All the spacers I could find had numerous oval holes on them, which indicates that they would fit multiple wheel lug dimensions.  I could not find a set with five round holes that would fit the DJ.  I sent the caliper covers back, and my money was refunded.  Something seems odd/different with the Crossroad Calipers.
Now they are offered in yellow.  Would really like to have these!

I did see that the calipers changed in 2012 and my journey has the larger calipers since it was made in November 2011. As for the calipers being painted that has nothing to do with the rims rubbing on the caliper. I took off enough paint to see if that could be the issue and it was not it, what sucks now is I have to touch up the paint on my caliper.

I did some research today and found something very interesting. According to the mopar part site the front caliper part number's changed after 2012, so now I'm wondering what difference did they make on the calipers that were made 2013-2015.

FYI  These are halogen projectors, not HID projectors.  I just replaced my bulbs with zXes.  Seller had "make offer" on ebay and I got them for $32 a pair.  Package says lifetime of these bulbs are not as long as regular halogens.  But, they are much brighter in my stock Crossroad housings with the inside painted black.  Time will tell.

The dealership could not get the rims to mount on the front they did rub on the calipers. They had no clue why they rub but they checked the part numbers and found out the crossroad front calipers have a different part number. I will keep doing my research on this maybe find a crossroad and do my own measurements.

Hello, when I matched the bulbs that came with it they have the yellow color to them and when I changed to the Sylvania zXe bulbs I had a much clearer white light. The bulbs that come with them are made by AU-lite which I never heard of, also once installed you will need to do the adjustment to level you headlights out. You can find the bulbs on amazon much cheaper, you will need to get the H7 low beams and H1 high beams if you do change them.

I just replaced my headlight assemblies and I did have to pull on the bumper to get them out. I did put a thin layer of tape on the bumper so it didn't get scratched, it does take some patience to get them out but they will come out. You will notice my headlights don't seem too bright but they are actually brighter than my OEM headlights. I did change the bulbs to the Sylvania zXe bulbs because the ones that came with it were not too bright. Also the amber light bar comes on only for the turn signals, I just had my hazards on at the time to show them working.

I totally agree at this point after so much research nothing makes sense. Every oem 19" rim on the journey's are all the exact same size. That is why I'm going to the dealer to find out what is going on, hopefully they have the answer I'm looking for.

Could be as simple as the "rim offset" is different.
You can't fix that in itself but you could use a wheel spacer.

I do have the larger calipers on the front and small calipers on the rear. I do see the same rims I have are still being used on newer models, I think the deeper dish on the crossroad rim is the problem. I will see the dealer tuesday and l'm hoping they can give me an answer and solution. I will let you know what I find out.

The tire shop did mount one and I just tried myself. The rim does rub on the front caliper because of the spoke design. I will ask the dealer what was done with the 2015 models for the rim to fit.

I did get the 2015 crossroad rims and the tire shop said the caliper on the front would not let the rim sit properly. I did so much research and it does not make sense on what the tire shop said. The OEM 2012 19" rims have the exact measurement as the OEM ones I just bought. Long story short the dealer said the new rims will work so I will have them do the work. I'm hoping this works if not the seller will give me a full refund if it doesn't work.

Why wait for the dealer? Jack up the front and swap one wheel for the new one to see if there's any interference.  That way you won't have to drive to the dealer and spend money with him if it doesn't.

Does anyone know if you can use the 2015 crossroad rims 19" on a 2012 journey with 19" oem rims. I heard a rumor the crossroad rim will rub against the front calipers, any help would be appreciated.

Since the calipers on the pre-mid-2012 models were smaller, allowing the use of 16 inch rims, I suspect that if any combination would suffer interference, it would be if you tried to use the 2012 rims on a 2015 vehicle.

But even so, 2late4u's advice is correct.  To be 'more certain' (because the parts guy will not know for sure - all he can tell you is that the part numbers are different) you'll need to find the wheel specifications for both vehicles and compare them.  Or mount up a set of wheels from the same model/year you plan on using and see what happens.

You can get them off of amazon. They have the choice of black of chrome. I just installed the black ones and the light output is way better than the OEM. I did install better bulbs and its even brighter, the cost is 370.00 for black and 350.00 for chrome.

This my friend is over 100 feet, you had a bad experience with projectors before cause you cheaped out and bought some eBay junk, probably a halogen projectorat that. If you want performance like mine. I might up 5 lanes wide. I'll never run halogens again. Ask me for more if your interested

Hello, does the voice command button work? I ask this because my phone and voice command buttons did not work. The dealer found the hands free module to be bad and had to replace it. Hopefully you have a warranty still to cover the repair because the cost to repair will be around $600.00.
