  1. i have the same 2009 R/T and the build quality of the bumpers just suck. with a couple of zipties i managed to allign it a bit, but its a mess anyway. also the headlight mounts have way too much play. whenever you remove one you have to adjust it again. its impossible to find the correct location for it.
  2. be carefull, at higher speeds tires will grow in diameter. it might slice up your tire. and the speedo will be off too.
  3. thats what i did today: reinstalled factory storage from my seven seater build a wooden frame two boxes for my gear lid on top with latches carpet on top
  4. thats actually the better idea, like it. i, for now, simply put a wooden floor in it and an aftermarket cargo carpet on top. but i think i will do the same, now that i've seen it :-D probably using the space behind the stock storage for a sub and som cargo space.
  5. the link is only for the latch. the complete storage is somewhere around 600 bucks. try to find a car wrecker for these. this storage will simply replace the third row, just drop it in, so no problem at all.
  6. in a german forum we had a similar problem. solution was to replace the frame* of the sunroof, which wasnt glued in properly. so for that matter it IS in fact a warranty issue. *also they didnt specify exactly which part is called "the frame"
  7. as mentioned above you will need to find a dealer with witec or startec software to change country code of the vehicle. the radio should then adapt itself and play european region code dvd.
  8. looking good, hope they exeed your expectations!
  9. with 245/55 the speedo is 3% off. why not use 255/50? this would be the nearly exact fit.
  10. best bet would be to find a dealer with startec or weitec system on a laptop. they can change the region code of the vehicle. and there is a good chance that the radio will adopt to the new region code and maybe it displays the corresponding languages. for aditional info you can contact "car la carte" in bochum or bertrand in wuppertal. or ask a local dodge dealer: http://dodge-services.de/dodge/haendlersuche/
  11. momo is a well established italian brand in the automotive market for a couple of decades. but they are new with tires. i dont think they are going to sell crap.
  12. in theory yes, but there is a huge pile of parts to be replaced, such as cargo box, seat belts, side panels. you will also need the second row seats, because they do not fold up, for easy access to the rear. best is to find a donor car at a carwrecking.
  13. i bet my ass that they did not bleed the clutch. the clutch master cylinder ist fed also by the brake system with the same fluid. nobody here ever mentioned the clutch, so....
  14. with the size like that the speedo will be a little off. i would go with 245/50-19, as they have the same diameter.
  15. most aftermarket wheels have an offset roughly around 35 to 40mm. stock jeep wheels will fit too, but they have an offset of 48mm, which might need some spacers to fit. jeep wrangler, grand cherokee, commander, chrysler voyager and pacifica of certain model years have the same bolt pattern. thats nice to know because they sometimes come with nice wheels. http://lochkreis.ch/lochkreis/677

  17. i have done the mod using these bulbs: http://www.ebay.de/itm/232068692138?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT and these resistors: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Load-Resistor-50W-6Ohm-LED-Light-Bulb-Turn-Signal-Brake-Fix-Blink-Hyper-Flash-x2-/360837221084?hash=item5403930adc:g:B7MAAOxyB9RS1bve&vxp=mtr swapping the bulbs might be a good idea to check if they are faulty see video here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1711254609117017/permalink/1835857453323398/
  18. i would guess that the resistor is not installed properly on that side. meaning that the wires do not have contact due to faulty connection. i say that because without a resistor i didnt have switchback functionality either, only one steady amber light. so check this first. judging by the pictures the resistor is at the right cables and installed correctly. it might just miss a steady connection.
  19. thats right, but it doesnt even work without the resisitors. it only turns amber, no flashing at all, no switchback, just amber. i was about to send them back bc i thought they were defective. turns out with resistors it works with the switchback.
  20. yes! allways. i thought its only for avoid hyper flshing but also the switchback works only with resistors installed. (and i have no idea why)
  21. my kit arrived today and i installed it. works flawless but i am not too happy with the turn signal brightness. looks like a accidantially ordered a cheaper/older version of these bulbs. so i ordered the ones with alloy housing today. i'll keep you updated if outcome is better. ordered these today: http://www.ebay.de/itm/371752767637?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT those are probably outdated: http://www.ebay.de/itm/232068692138?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
  22. i wonder if there is a mounting kit/bezel available for the journey to swap the stock cd-radio to an aftermarket double-din radio. what i found was this picture here in another thread: but it looks like there is a bezel missing to let it snug fit into the stock compartment. second: i am not very happy with the very low position of the radio and i was wondering if it would be possible to swap the radio and the a/c-unit. they look like they have the same size. i would guess that nowerdays both are only have wires and there are no longer any mechanically connections to the heating system (like rods or levers). a little wiring and soldering would do the trick. what do you think? [sorry for my weird english)
