For those interested. I raced my SRT Ram in the 1/4 mile last weekend in Sacramento in this video I ran a 13.03 sec @ 107 mph. On my last run I got a personel best time of 12.9 sec @ 109 mph. Not too bad for a 5600lb brick! http://videos.streetfire.net/video/Sacrame...-107_681808.htm

A short term fix also would be to put some rain-X on your windshield. With that stuff on you don't need to use your wipers very much in the rain. When I used the it the only time I really needed to use the wipers was during a light rain and moving slow.

I believe the warranty on 3M is seven years. Not 100% sure on that. The guy that put mine on again cut me a really good deal for all the stuff he added. Normal price is closer to $1K USD. The Clear bra is cheaper than having to get the whole front end repainted from rock chips in the long run.

Sounds like your disc brakes are warped to me. It is really difficult to diagnose a problem over the internet. My guess is on the rotors being warped by the description you have given.

Usually with lemon laws the car has to be a safety issue or affect the resale value. Each state is different. You have already checked your state laws and know what will qualify as a lemon. If you have a lemon you will get nowhere with Chrysler without an attorney. And then it will probably still be a drawn out battle. Best of luck to you. I have used the ones with the tape. The tape is very strong. Clean the area the tape will be sticking too with isopropolene(sp) alchohol, and tape into place. Done. I have had them on a vehicle for over 3 years with no issues.

I would for sure use a different service department now. Chrysler just put out a list of dealerships closing for the US. I am sure there is a list for Canada too. You might not have to worry about taking it to them anymore.

It cost me a little over $500 for everything. My friend installs these and cut me a pretty good deal. It covers the door edges, mirrors and probably 99% of the front end. It goes on like window tint. It has a glue that adheres to the body. If you want to get one I would go with 3M products. Venture shield makes some film too. I hear it is not as good or thick. I think Venture is around 7mm and the 3M is 13 mm. The installer's wife has it installed on her car and a rock hit the hood. It left a dent and the paint was still good. No rock chip. I took some of his scrap clear bra stuff and put it on the screen of all my electronics that have screens(Camera, Portable GPS, and cell phone).

From the pic you can see the wiper blade is bent to be able to conform to the window better. I have this type on two of my vehicles and seem to work good. I got them more for looks than anything else.

Here are the pics of my Journey with the clear bra. This is a hand cut kit. Not a kit that is already cut from the manufacture. The first set of pics is when it the car was dirty and it just got done raining. It is easier for the camera to pic up the clear bra. The latter ones are when it is clean. The pics barely pic it up. Of course it is more noticeable in person. If you are about 5 feet away it is not ver noticeable. First set There is a small strip along the door edge to help protect if you hit something while opening the door.

Made a hard left turn today. Made a u-turn and I heard the noise twice. That was my main concern for them doing the TSB or whatever Dodge calls it today. It was better before they touched it The thing that really gets me about mechanics these days is if the computer does not tell them what is wrong they can't fix it.

A trick I have used with older wiper blades and should work with new wiper blades too. Put hand lotion on the wiper blades. Don't use the wiper blades for a few days and the streaking will be gone. I don't know why, but it does work.
