  1. I think it will be difficult! You don't have the seatbelt, I don't think that the floor is the same in the cargo area, you don't have the second row that lift to give access to the rear, the plastic trims are not the same in the cargo area... I think it is too much work and it will be very expensive!
  2. The 4 cylinders SXT come with 16" wheels and the V6 SXT comes with 17" wheels (19" in option).
  3. If he does not have the EVIC, it should work. But if he has the EVIC, I'm not sure because the computer has to know the position of the tire... have to try it to find out! EDIT: I just saw that it was a Journey SE Plus, shouldn't have the EVIC. If you put all four TPMS on the spare tire, it should do the job. But it might be a problem to fit all four! Why don't you just put your TPMS back on the new wheels?
  4. Finally! All this for a wire. At least it is now fixed.
  5. Good news! I hope you'll have a free troubles car!
  6. One of them have the 1.9TDI and the other the 2.0T. No diesel in Canada for the Journey. Not because we don't want it! 99% of time, we have what USA want. So, if USA don't want diesel, Canada won't have it! The VW 6 speed DSG is from BorgWarner and the Dodge 6 speed DCT is from Getrag.
  7. Two guys I know did the same thing to their VW engine, and they also got better MPG... only if you drive the same way as before the tuning.
  8. With good snow tires, no problems at all. The ESP and the traction control (wich work a lot on the start) do a great job. I assume (and is sure) it is not as good as AWD, but it is a lot better than a car without traction control and ESP. I had absolutely no problem of traction last winter.
  9. Climate control in one piece! Good to know! Is the wiring long enough to do the swap?
  10. 60% and 40% should slide. If you sit on it, it is easier to slide. Be sure you take the good lever.

    Low Fuel

4.5 gallons left and it was LOW FUEL!! You can make a good distance with 4.5 gallons!
  12. If you want something else than Kuhmo, like I said in another topic:

    nice feature

In the US and Canada, we don't have this feature on our cars (power fold and open mirrors).
  14. I put a kind of 3M clear bra on the headlights. When it is worn, you change it.

  16. You can try, but I'm pretty sure it is two pieces with no common faceplate.
  17. The Hidden Hitch looks like that: http://www.dodgejourneyforum.com/index.php?showtopic=309 The OEM from Chrysler: http://www.dodgejourneyforum.com/index.php?showtopic=474
  18. This is not a problem. If you are on auto-headlights (and ONLY on auto-headlights), the headlights will turn on when you'll turn on the wipers and when you turn them off, the headlights come off. On the Journey, each time the headlights turns off, the instrument panel dim. This is just normal (kind of feature of the car)! If it does not dim, it is because you are not on auto-headlights or because you didn't use the wipers long enough to make the headlights turn on (takes maybe 1 minute).

    And again, you're welcome :beerchug:
  20. Very strange problem :o I hope they will succeed to fix it soon! Keep us updated.

    LED lights

You should have the automatic climate controls. It is the infrared sensor for the automatic A/C.

    LED lights

    My pleasure ^_^
  23. Haha! Kind of. I should ask the dealer next time...

    LED lights

Yes I have. In the front, I have the two overhead LED, one LED under the dashboard on the passenger side and one LED under the dashboard on the driver side. The ones under the dashboard are really small bulb and you can't see them if you don't know what it looks like. Also, they come on only when you turn on the headlights. if you want to know if they work, wait at night and turn on your headlights. Look under the dashboard and you should see them.
  25. The only thing I found is: Performance suspension, Performance tuned pwr rack & pinion steering... I assume it is only a diffenrent setting...
