  1. We just had the "no start" problem this week. Got in it in the morning and nothing, so I thought could it be a dead battery? I jumped it and started, removed the cables and it started repetedly with no problem, so it couldn't be the battery right? Waited 15 mins or so and again it would not start.Took it in and they replaced the battery. Now it's doing some other weird things like the AM radion stations work then don't. This thing had been nothing but trouble...
  2. Alright, 9 days in the shop and we finally have our Journey back!!! ABS module replaced, no fix. The dealership found a chauffing wire somewhere in the harness behind the steering column. The wire was shorting to ground and would fry the ESP computer. So a couple computers later, all fixed!!! We sure are glad to get it back, the PT Cruiser was getting old. I hope all the gremlins are gone. Mike
  3. Here's where we're at...Recieved the Journey back and did not get 500ft out of the dealership when the brakes came on bringing us to a sudden stop. It always happens at exactly 40km/h. It has now been in the shop for 7 days. Dynamic sensor replaced, no fix. Wiring repaired/replaced, no fix. ABS control module ordered, but on backorder...No ETA. Dealership has been in multiple conference calls with engineering and no one seems to have an idea why the car is acting this way. So they are now randomly replacing computers and differnt sensors and modules. I don't know what to say....really dissapointed!!!
  4. Told us it was ok to drive so we took it. Well today my wife was coming home from work and the brakes took on a mind of their own and began pulsing and grabbing, uncomanded and uncontrolled. The worst part was it happened at around 40kmh, so stop now! Luckily no one was following closely and she was able to get it off the road. She said it sounded like they were ripping themselves apart. I freaked on the phone, obviously it is not ok to drive with this failure. They towed it and got us a rental, some crappy little PT Cruiser that smells like an ashtray. So we'll see tomorrow, they expect to have parts. If you ever have an "ESP/BAS" caution light and your told it's ok to drive, I'd make other arrangements. Only 5000kms, becoming very dissapointed!
  5. Well, looks like the problem is the "Dynamic Sensor", which from what I'm told lives under/behind the glove box. It has to do with the control of the anti-lock brakes. One problem, no parts available anywhere locally. Looks like it could be a few days
  6. Hey all, The ESP/BAS Caution light comes on after driving a few kilometers. No speed in particular or anything. The caution light goes out on the next startup, but soon comes back. Just over 4000kms driven on it. Have not been to the dealer yet, will call tomorrow. Anyone experience this problem?
  7. We have the same problem, and seems to be common according to the dealer. So common infact that the assemblies are on backorder. They've ordered one in for us...the waiting game begins. Hard to brag about the new car to friends with tape holding it togeather...LOL!
