    weird noise

For the dashboard rattle, I had something similar. I was thinking it was from the dashboard, but it was not. Actually, the rattle was coming from outside the car, from the rubber that makes contact between the windshield and the plastic where are the wipers. The rubber was not in contact everywhere and at highway speed, air was going there, making the rubber vibrating and sounding like a rattle from the dashboard. For the other noise, is it really like a power steering noise or is it more metallic?
  4. I have a 2009 Journey with fog lights and I can swear they are plastic... and it should be the same with the others Journey. For the heat, mine doesn't heat a lot compared with fog lights of other cars brands.
  5. It doesn't fit, this is not the same bolt pattern.
  6. The 2009 fog lamps also have plastic lenses, not glass.

    Drafty doors?

Are you sure that it doesn't come from the lower speakers in the doors?
  9. Journey 2009, fog lights are 9145//H10... should be the same for 2010...
  10. No, it is a Getrag transmission. The VW DSG is made by BorgWarner and the Dodge DCT is a Getrag transmission. For the engine, I don't know. It should be the previous generation of TDI...

  13. If you have the EVIC, go to Personal Settings (Customer Programmable Features). Turn off the horn with lock, it will also turn off the horn with the remote start. If you don't have the EVIC:
  14. Sorry, you're right, it is an engine oil cooler. I was sure it was a transmission cooler, but no! Sorry! Now, yes, I would install a transmission oil cooler if there is not.
  15. The factory installed oil cooler (in the tow package) is for the transmission. So if you have it, you should not have problem of overheat with the transmission.
  16. No, the transmission oil cooler will be enough.
  17. The only thing I can tell you is that it is normal that the DRL on the side you activate the turn signal goes out. It is a "safety" thing that most of Chrysler have. This way, other drivers can see better your signal turn. For the flickering, it is not the first time I read about that, but I never noticed something as bad as you describe.
  18. Great job! It's a clean fit and the fact that you can flip it and close the compartment is really usefull. I like it a lot!
  19. I don't like #1. My opinion: #2 is the best looking.
  20. Yes they come off. Squeeze your fingers under the headrest to the sleeves. There is a lock button (like for the front headrest, but in this case, there is one on both sleeves) on each sleeve. Push both of them at the same time and lift the headrest. It should come off.
  21. No, you will not be able to start on the 5th gear. It will automatically downshift to 1st gear after a complete stop.
  22. For the sway control, I don't think there is a light. And here's how it works: And look at the video here: http://www.dodge.com/en/2010/journey/performance/towing/

    Did you know???

Yeah, it only do this with the remote starter. I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the automatic climate control... or maybe with the exterior temperature sensor... Someone with the factory remote and standard climate control can tell us?

    Did you know???

I have noticed that too. Very, very nice feature! It turns on the rear defroster and the heat mirrors. Probably a feature with the automatic climate control?
