I've got told 2 things by friends. The switch and body module might need to be programmed. Just another issue for me to reconsider ever buying another dodge. I'll go Honda or Mitsubishi on my next purchase owned both brands in the past and never a issue stick to what you know right. Hopefully this junk gets recalled. I've seen many post about uconnect releasing this with known issues. Best part I was told being I'm the 2nd owner (used car) warranty doesn't transfer to next owner. I'ma just wait summer is here hopefully someone ends up finding a fix for the issue. Thanks for all the reply.

Sucks I got this issue upon others ucconect is no help and that fix only fixes my heated seat not steering wheel. Sucks dodge didn't add a physical button. Called uconnect they were even stumped and even if it's defective they will do nothing about it. They got their money they don't give a crap.

No warranty. But I'm dieing to see if someone else has had this problem. Seems like I'm the first 1 can't find this issue with any1 else. I've seen the issue where people's heated seats turn off intermediately but mine won turn off on driver side and passenger doesn't turn on and steering wheel. The blonde screen buttons don't work. @larryl

I pulled the fuse out but it seems that I'm the only person with this problem and vehicle is 54k in and uconnect offers no damn help with their junk. Not my first issue, experienced Bluetooth issues n had to reset it, seems uconnect doesn't want to accept the fact their units are defective. Wish it would have had physical buttons to cancel out what could be the issue.

I am having a issue updating the uconnect. I downloaded the update to a micro USB that I have a adapter for. I put the SD card in the SD card slot in the 2016 journey rt. No supported file. File remains in kwi never dealt with this type of file but I don't see what I'm doing wrong. Driveuconnect site got the proper file I'm on my 10 attempt so far. The ucconect is not allowing me to use my headted seats and steering wheel. I had to pull the fuse out because I was slow cooking my rear end couldn't stand it anymore it doesn't go off itpo stay on the whole time and the touch buttons do not respond in controls. Please help

I have a 2016 dodge journey R/T with another issue. So as of 03/31/18 I began to have a issue with my heated seats driver side stays on which as you can imagine is not ideal. This happens regardless of auto start or manual start. I did the reset has not worked. The steering wheel warmer does not work also I can not select it on the controls, only screen off and outlet power work. I drove more than a hour in the car and seat warmer just stay on and it stays on hi. Doesn't show which is selected but it hot as a mofo, so I imagine it's high.

Dont get me wrong i love this car its just multiple issues i might be a little over worried but you know who wouldnt i have other cars and worked on them all i just dont want to have to get under the hood so soon. Waiting on the call back for a appointment will update you guys.

Please that snow wasnt even a full 2 inches it was gone in less than 48 hours. I dont know if the thread about heavy duty grease would help but doubt it. Just sounds so out of the norm happems when it rains too and when i was the car. The snow made me raise a eye brow

Just called chrysler and spoke to dodge side of operations. They didnt sound to helpful nor did it seem to care to them. Im jist amazed that a 2016 rt has this noise ive had many cars my infamous 2001 mitsubishi galant never made that noise and i used to rip ebrake and slid everywhere it was my play car in the snow never ever made that noise. Shocks lasted a lot longer also and i drove that thing with no care. Now my dodge i drive that thing like new borns are in the back and having a r/t the suspension is supposed to be stronger i call bullshit i only do highway driving with this thing highly disappointed never will i buy another dodge chrysler jeep ever again. Sadly starting to feel like im dumping 30k on junk

I have 43k on my 2016 dodge journey sincw the snow has passed now my dj is soundling like a very old truck squeaks over speed bumps and and dip. Am i still covered i just learned that the 30k basic bumper to bumper is over for me shamefully since i never have time to take my car in. Im just wondering is this out my pocket to fix now. Im just blown away a little snow makes my car sound like its 20 years old and needs new suspension. Starting to regret my purchase more and more. I have a video but cant upload it

My first forum and post thanks for help in advanced. My question is i got a 2016 DJ RT i have been doing my oil changes myself. I was told 2 oil changes later by a mopar diehard friend of mine that, i should keep receipts of my oil changes to keep my warranty valid am i screwed already? Im already having issue with the vehicle i dont like and plan on visiting dodge real soon
