The crossroad rims are nice but IMO the chrome 19 inch rims look over all the best but that is just my preference cause I like chrome - It would be interesting to see the crossroad rims in chrome! yes the bumpers on the other models do make the DJ look better from esp in the back. I wish Dodge had done something to the front bumper on the SE like a redesign . I dont know what the others have but my SE is nicely equipped and best of all, I only paid 20 k for it after rebates and dealer rebates. I think the AVP does not comes with LED lights, I was looking at one and it has different tail lights vs the SE SXT and RT models !

What can I say, I love this cuv. The drive is smooth, the steering wheel gives good feedback imo. I just wish I had the bumper covers from the models above the SE . I will have to keep my eye on eBay for those or find something similar to give my bumpers the same look. Dodge should had put those bumpers on all models .
I like the ac vents on the ceiling a lot , nice neat feature. I am definitely Glad I have the 19 inch chrome rims as they are imo the best looking rims offer on the DJ.
I do mostly city driving and country driving but so far the information screen say 23 MPG is my average. I like that compared to my trucks MPG average of 18 MPG.
I am going take it this Saturday to clean it up good. Bei g its black paint I want to avoid swirl marks etc but I live in a apt so I have to use a self wash bay . I am buying my own bucket and new wash mit and will go late Sat night to wash it by hand. Anyways I definitely love the journey and would buy another one.
Hopefully Fiat will not forget dodge and give them a new small suv and midsize. I think dodge with fiat help really improved the avanger and journey. It's sad the avanger is gone, hope the journey does not join its sibling in the auto grave.

I found this set on ebay. Although it did come from China, the Stainless Steel seems to be as good as anything I have seen from the States.

The light from my garage door window makes it look distorted in the center, but it is flat. Took about a week to get here.

I was happy cause I lost a trouble maker ! We're find him someday I keep seeing blue in my pics cause of you lol . I think pitch black does look blue kinda in certain angles

My Dealer would have shown me the defect, whether I asked to see it or not. The old gas tank is yours and you have a right to see it.

So you believe the tank was defected but you never try to have it checked out by a third party to prove as much and now you just flat out blame dodge for this , you can't blame Dodge unless you have complete proof and not just a assumption . You should had taken it to another repair shop besides the dealer to have it checked if you truly believed it was defected.
You are upset about the hazmat fees , towing fees and repair costs you paid but you must have insurance that should cover that so you could had avoid those charges if you had contacted your insurance agent but you seem dead sit on blaming dodge for this without proof so IMO You got what you deserve !
stop whinnying to us and call your insurance agent before it is too late to try to recover those costs you paid out of pocket that could be paid though a claim !
as for the dealer not letting you see the Original tank with the damage, you can damn well believe I would not be told no when I own it !
I am not saying a defected tank is not possible but you failed to prove it by going to a third party so you don't have a leg to stand on and you are out of money for all those fees cause you didn't contact your insurance agent

I understand your frustration, but an automobile warranty is a promise by a manufacturer or dealer that it will repair or replace defects in your vehicle. Unless you can show that this is the result of a defect (which will be pretty difficult as impact is usually pretty obvious and not a claim that would typically be made when unsure) you're kind of SOL. This is very standard across the industry...
Have you seen the damage? Seems to me impact would show the damage going into the tank whereas if the tank gave out to pressure the damage would be going out of the tank.

i think we wont see a new one till late 2018 early 2019 if the buying public is lucky

Now to add fuel to the fire. The Cherokee, 200 and Dart are all based on a FWD compact Alfa Romeo compact car. Alfa is getting ready to introduce a medium size RWD car with a Ferrari V6, sharing many Meserati parts also. This RWD platform will be used for the next generation Avenger and Journey. Dodge is going to be the low priced performance Division and Alfa will be the higher priced performance division. This means that all Dodges will eventually be RWD; then what happens to the Dart?

We had a 2013 Dart and liked everything about it except for sitting so low. Prior to the Dart we were in modestly lifted Wrangler Unlimited.
