I received mine as well last week.

Hats off to FCA. I had the recall done July 6 and received a cheque today dated Aug. 4 for full
reimbursement for the replacement of this hose and inline cooler I paid for in Dec. 2014.
Well done!

I'm also on a Mopar minivan forum.  The 3.6 has been in use in the GC/T&C platform since 2011 as well, and no one is complaining about anything beyond the 2011 head issues and, more recently, the difficulty of changing out spark plugs.  Past that, the 3.6 appears to be a rock solid engine.

No leaks here yet. Just hit 26k km here, about 15k miles I guess. I have heard nothing but good things about the Pentastar engines so far. It is used in a LOT of vehicles.
 
 

This was on our '09 Nitro and I really liked it. Too bad they did away with it.

I have seen this first hand as I work for FCA. Several years of neglect and maximizing profit by "other" owners led to a serious decline in quality. I'm very happy with the direction Fiat has taken with Chrysler.. quality has improved immensely since Fiat has taken over.

I've had good luck using Simple Green cleaner. Removes a lot of otherwise hard to remove stuff.

their theory is traction on the rears .. my thought is I want the best tires I have on the drive axle and stearing tires.. there is not much weight on the back ...

Sorry Dave, SWMBO has the DJ out of town atm, else I would go take pics for you. I have nothing to compare o/h consoles to, but mine stops just after the drop down mirror/sunglasses holder if that's any help. My DJ has 7pass configuration and sunroof with rear hvac.

Several start/stop cycles today and no repeat of the aforementioned problems. I guess it will remain a mystery for the moment.

Driving to work today and noticed that the radio was on very low and I could not adjust it, and the hvac fan was on( I KNOW I left it off earlier)and I could not shut it off or turn the a/c on. As well, the 8.4 radio display was completely blank. I stopped into a store for 10min, and when I started it back up everything was back to normal. WTHeck?! Any thoughts on this?

I purchased Michelin blades for my Caravan. Unfortunately, I sold it before 6m went by so no idea as to the longevity of them. However, I WAS pleased with them for the short time I had them. Cheapies I had on there before didn't last me 6m. Canadian Tire house brand... my fellow Canadians will understand.

I have had good luck with Michelin blades for the front.

Thanks! I was looking at ones like that, or very similar to them. I think there's a few other members here that have used those as well.

Pics... No pics, it didn't happen. Seriously... what type did you get? Factory, or aftermarket? I'm going to be adding a complete set to mine this year. Just have to decide which ones.

My Nitro had an easy fix to all of this. The fuse for the Power Port was a two position fuse. Installed in one position, it was hot all the time. The other position, it was hot only with the key. When they come up with neat ideas like this, why can't they keep them?

Pretty easy installation. The rear wheels have to be taken off but I rotated my tires at the same time so no extra effort was required.
I have a 3 ton floor jack and jack stands which makes the job even easier.

Dave, I've had good luck with factory batteries.... '01 GCaravan lasted 7yrs!! '07 got me 6. Still not impossible for one to fail prematurely.

That's the way mine is set up... front console is live w/key only. Rear of centre is live all the time. Can't say about the rear one... haven't needed it yet.

OK, finally had the time to create a quick playlist... IT WORKS!! Created one via Windows Media Player, copied it to the SD card and it showed up in the list when I hit the "playlists" button. I think this is going to work out fine as I can put multiple playlists on the same card.... will have my choice then, all depending on what I'm in the mood for.
And, Dave, some of the songs had the cd front cover show up with the song. Not sure if I want to go thru and add the jacket to ALL the songs, but it might be interesting to find out how it's done.
