Well. "apparently" you can create playlists with Winblows Media Player and they will be in a format the radio will be able to read. Mind you, I haven't tried it yet, but I'm sure that's what I read. As for the larger flash drive, I have a 128g coming, but that's really overkill for my needs... the other ones I used were small ones, only 1g. I had a spare 8g sd card so was going to start playing with it.

Finally starting to set my music up on an SD card and just curious as to which most people are using.... creating playlists, or just putting music in folders and playing from the folders? I've also used the USB slot to play music from, but it's pretty inconvenient to change thumb drives inside the console while driving whilst the SD card is right in front.

I experienced something similar with my '15. Started out with trans not shifting out of low gear, then shifting normally but banging into gear very harshly. In my case, it was the speed sensor. (I assumed an input speed sensor, but not sure) Not exactly like your problem, but similar.

I have seen this first hand as I work for FCA. Several years of neglect and maximizing profit by "other" owners led to a serious decline in quality. I'm very happy with the direction Fiat has taken with Chrysler.. quality has improved immensely since Fiat has taken over.

OK, finally had the chance to take a short hi-way trip on Thursday. Distance to first fill was 455.3 km(282.9mi) Fuel economy was 9.46l/100km or 29.86/imperial gallon or 24.8/US gallon. Speed ranged from 100km(62mph) up to 130km(80mph). Not too shabby imho, and not broken in yet. Only have about 2300km(1429miles) on it. My Caravan struggled to get 26/imperial gallon. So far, I'm impressed. And fuel economy indicator readout was pretty accurate as well.

I have used a thumb drive in my '15, as well as connecting via Bluetooth to my Android (Samsung S3) and both work fine. I have not tried the SD card yet, but soon.

I will be considering Pirelli when the time comes to replace. A long time in the future atm, only have a bit over 1000km(620miles). Put them on my wifes Nitro and absolutely love them!! Very quiet, good traction and ride. Don't put too much blame Kuhmo. Yes, they are the tire manufacturer, but Chrysler probably said "look, we want to buy a gazillion tires from you, but we don't want to pay very much for them." Most business would try to find a way to make that work somehow. In this case, they cut costs by shortening the life of the tire.

Not all auto parts stores are that smart. I had to buy some for my '01 Grand Caravan. "These are the right ones" says them... "No, I think mine are smaller" says I. Next time I took a sample with me...

My '15 has it as well, without the tow package.

2015 Dodge Journey Limited I was looking at the build sheet on this again, and I think I've got most of the toys figured out. But(yes, always ONE) it indicates that it has a "humidity sensor" as part of the options package. Anyone know what this is? Or, rather, what it does? Not real important in the grand scheme of things, but just for curiosity sake.

OK, I'm already impressed. Filled up today, and combined city(70%)hi-way(30%) I averaged 12.8l/100km, which is about 18mpgUS. Over 340km/210miles. Not too shabby compared to what I've been used to.

I realize that the most accurate method is to do the calculations based on distance traveled against fuel consumed. The MPG meter in my Grand Caravan was "close" but not 100% accurate. It was always out a couple mpg, and always in my favour. When I did the calculations, then I found out the sad truth. When I saw the low reading from the DJ, I was shocked... thought, there is NO WAY I am getting that kind of fuel economy, and this thing must be WAY off. So far, the DJ blows the van out of the water for fuel economy, I still haven't done a hi-way trip to do an actual reading, but just based on what I have to put in the tank for around town driving it's much better. Hit 500km(approx 300 miles) yesterday, Starting to lose that "new car" smell.

Just out of curiosity, how accurate have you been finding the displayed fuel economy? L/k or mpg, doesn't matter which, just how accurate a reading have you been getting? The reason I'm asking is that today I set the cruise at 60kmh (approx. 35mph) I then hit the reset button, and it displayed 6.7L/100km, which converts into about 35mpg US. I haven't yet had the opportunity to take an extended highway trip to check fill-up to fill-up, so have been monitoring the display. After this reading today, I don't know what to think.

And, of course, that is to the Imperial gallon and not the US gallon. About a quart or so bigger I think.

Actually, 7.8 is about 36mpg...

That's good to hear Dave. I'm sure that is the case with the majority of DJ's produced. I can accept the fact of sensors being defective right from the start, or soon after the start as it were, it happens with anything that is mass produced. It's just frustrating when the problem is with MINE! Hopefully this one will be it. This is a GREAT vehicle, and overall I am very happy with it.

Shouldn't be plugged drains, but, yes, I am aware of that problem from another vehicle. This comes in at the back of the sunroof, and only when going thru a car wash, when the hi-pressure water hits it. Will see if they were successful this time. It doesn't appear that they tested their repair work, so if it ever stops raining here, I will test it.

Yes, 2nd time in for the sunroof. It only leaks when I take it thru a car wash and the hi-pressure water hits the roof. And, it's not a flood, but even a few drops is a few drops too many. This time they "adjusted the rear weatherstripping" on it. Of course, since the DJ was just as dirty when I picked it up as when I dropped it off, I'm sure there was NO testing done on it to see if their repair was successful or not. I guess they leave the testing to me.

So, enroute to the dealer yesterday, trans would not shift out of low. Stopped twice, shut off and restart both times and it started shifting normally. Now check engine light is on again. Picked up today and apparently they replaced the input speed sensor. Hopefully, this will be it for a while. Now, if the leak in the sunroof has been repaired things would be perfect.

Oh they will be the ultimate "handlers" of the problem, no doubt about it. If I wanted to work on something, I would have kept my 8 year old mini-van. I'm just curious as to what caused the light to come on. That, and if I should drive it to the dealer or tell them to send a flat bed for it.

Oh BOY!! Another "check engine light" question!!! 2015 Dodge Journey Limited w/v6 265km (a great start!!) Started fine, drove fine. Drove about 10 minutes, shut off for 5, started up and drove off and noticed the DJ was surging, fast, slow. Noticed the check engine symbol was on. Pulled over, shut off and restarted and it was still on. Drove back home, surging seemed to disappear but engine lite was still on. Is there a way to check engine codes without a reader on the '15 DJ? I could do it on my van, would think I can do it on the Journey as well. This one has the push button start.

OK, minor scratches buffed out.. except for on on the rear facia. I almost got nasty with the manager, but my Mom raised me to be nice to stupid people. He said that if they repaired it, in 6 months, or a year, it would come back and it wouldn't be covered, basically hinting that I should just take it and be happy. I bit my tongue at this point, and asked him "why wouldn't it be covered if it was repaired under warranty by a Chrysler dealer? This is a new car, I want it fixed!!" whereupon he said I guess we'll have to order a new facia. And I'm not sure if anything was actually done with the leaky sunroof... mysteriously, there was "no paper" available for me, so I don't know if it was an actual problem or just the loose nut behind the wheel. Supposedly they are going to mail it to me. I dunno, I've been to the dealership a few times with other cars, and there has ALWAYS been paper.

No, not vent... altho I'm wondering if when I had it open briefly to make sure it worked, if I didn't hit, and hold, the close button instead of just hit, and release, and let it auto-close. If I held it, and then released it when I thought it was closed, perhaps it wasn't completely closed. I don't know at this point... will have to wait and see if they find anything wrong with it, or if it was operator error. NOT that it could EVER be MY fault... :shades:
