  1. Thanks that's very valuable. Could you explain what you mean by "AWD does not engage on the DJ"
  2. Thanks. It is not a transmission or incorrect fluid issue. I'm trying to see if someone had a similar problem where transmission wasn't at fault. I found on the forum some information about rear axle leaking, I have not notice any leaks. I'd like to see if anyone could suggest a possibility that my mechanics can investigate. Thanks again!
  3. <I made a mistake in the title, I did not mean jerking I meant roughness when switching to D or R) Hello, I own a 2012 3.6 AWD Journey. I've been trying to figure out why it is sometimes very rough when I put it to D or R and try to move. I initially thought it was transmission or transmission fluid. I went to a transmission shop, they connected it to the computer, changed the transmission oil etc. and said the transmission is in perfect condition. The vehicle has only 44k miles on it. I am oversees and local mechanics don't see this kind of vehicles often. Could you kindly let me know what I should check/investigate to possibly find a cause and get rid of that roughness. It does not occur all the time but it happens regularly. I really appreciate your help!
