300mile check in, tires seem very quiet. I've pushed the through some on/off ramp turns an they feel very predictable with noticeably less body roll. It's been pretty dry weather so I can't say how they perform in the wet.
  2. The original site I got the pdf from list 2.0, 2.4, & 3.6. But it's your call again..you can always go 3/4" lower with the r/t springs.
  3. My other suggestion are R/T springs that sit 20mm lower and maybe knock off a half coil.
  4. Here's a German pdf for the Freemont/Journey Eibach spring. E1030018.PDF

Initial drive after 100miles, feels good, the steering is harder due to wider track, and the journey feels more planted. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v240/1500cc/20170202_140602_zpsnkx0bl4q.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v240/1500cc/20170202_140552_zpssjfwadqs.jpg
  6. I understand your comments, but looking up several different sites...(all euro) they do list for the freemont all engine sizes.

Hit the 42k mark on my 2015 with the original kumho wearing out evenly. Decided to go with 245/50 19 Firestone Firehawk AS. Slightly more aggressive pattern for $150 per tire so I can't complain too much. I'll have some pics up later. They look nice without being too bulky.
  8. The Freemont is a European model of the journey made here in the States. Now I've looked up the the strut mounts and spring insulator and they haven't changed since 2009 for the rears for the 2.4cyl models. So I don't see why the Eibach or h&r wouldn't fit

    Cracking leather

Well... Seat cover was changed and its doing it again. As to answer the questions about Katzkin, no they do not do the factory leather. My wife's cherokee has are done using Katkin, and the leather on her seat is thicker and of better quality than the oem one. I used maguires leather cleaner and conditioner. It still looks and smell like new approaching the 14k mile mark.
  12. dunno.... recently started having bluetooth connection issues. I was hoping for the METADATA update so that music info can be displayed while transimitting through bluetooth. Update took about 10min start to finish. Haven't seen any new options or any changes as of yet.
  13. Eibach has a kit that does 30mm front and 20mm rear. Also for the 2.0l journey
  14. I just wish that the unit would read mp4 or avi type video files through the usb or sd card.
  15. I didn't. It's a stand alone unit. Although it does have audio/video inputs, I am using it with wireless headphones for the kids. It also allows miracast so the kids can watch Netflix and I just play it through the radios Bluetooth. The other reason why I didn't is that I will be getting a mygig Wi-Fi so I can enjoy the front monitor too.
  16. sorry to revive such an old thread, but Metra has a kit available for the 4.3 inch radios. It includes a relocation and replacement a/c controls.
  17. Lowering has always been a yeah or nay, but I will admit it does change the look and feel of the car. I live in Miami and never have to deal with snow or rough terrain. The only other option is to swap in R/T springs and rear swaybar for flatter steering and a slightly lower center of gravity.

    Rubber Mats

I'm usually a stickler when it comes to all weather mats, but I decided to get these. Just laid the original carpet mat on top and trimmed it to fit. The rears fit fine and I just need to get a 3rd row mag for the future. I picked these up at autozone for $45. http://www.amazon.com/Dodge-Elite-Front-Truck-Rubber/dp/B00891DUSG/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1423840383&sr=8-5&keywords=dodge+rubber+mats
  19. yes, they offer two different springs for gas or diesel both for fwd and awd.
  20. Million dollar question....the weather feature doesn't seem to populate on mines, but I don't know if it's because I don't have nav or since it's on a trial basis that may or may not be fully activated. I know that some guys have had these issues too, but I think that the even though you are transferring any existing service the one year promo trumps everything else.
  21. I know it's like beating a dead horse, but I just looked through the European market and realized that the H&R makes springs for the Freemont 2011 and up 4cyl fwd/awd for about $320...plus shipping. just a food for thought.
  22. My crossroad did not have the most current as it did not show any updates available. So I used a vin from a 2014 and got an updated firmware that was more current than the one it originally came with.

    Cracking leather

not true, another crossroad on the lot didn't have it and the rest of my seats are good. I didn't buy a new car with leather seats to look like this when I picked it up. If Chrysler authorized new leather, then it can't be normal. Just my 2cents.
