  1. It has a release loop in front of the cushion that would be between your legs if sitting in the second row.
  2. Looking for some help. In 2015, this option was discontinued. 2014 was last year and seeing if any 2014 Crossroad owners had this option to help me out with their vin so I can order the seat for mines. Why crossroads some may ask? The seats are leather with cloth mesh inserts. If not, I need to try and get a hold of Dodge for a matching seat cover.
  3. The tinker bug is starting again, I have a 2015 Crossroad w/o the premium system. Just trying to get an idea of where the factory amp and sub located. Going to use the factory sub enclosure and replace the sub as soon as I can find out the internal volume. I have an Alpine amp that takes hi level inputs, so that will be enough to run the system. I'll just use the OEM speakers with a midrange crossover on them. Any help will be appreciated.

    Cracking leather

Here's a pic of the drivers seat cushion, it may not seem all that much to others, but with less then 1k miles. Now I used the katzkin option for my wife's Cherokee and it looks and feels great. The rest of the seats 2nd and 3rd row gets as much use as the rest and don't have a wrinkle. To me it looks like it sat at the dealer in a non shaded area and got nothing but sun. For my Liberty, I use Mothers cleaner and conditioner, and it looks damn good for 10yr old leather with 125k miles on the clock.

    Cracking leather

I'll snap some pics tomorrow. They said they'd be replacing the seat covers, which is fine by me. I just like the fact that by Chrysler warrantying the seats proves that there was an issue. I'll also post a copy of the work invoice as it should have a warranty claim number associated with it so everyone else can follow suit.

    Cracking leather

I just got my 2015 Crossroad about 3wks ago, noticed some wear on the front seats that looked like the leather was cracking. Well, took it back to the dealer, the sales person walked me over to service. They took pictures and said they would file a claim with Chrysler, it took about 2wks, but finally got a call back from the service advisor and she told me that Chrysler said it's normal wear and tear, she then responded with a picture of my odometer with only 400 miles on it and a picture of my 2005 Jeep Liberty with 125k miles on the factory leather and not one crack. She called me back today to let me know that they approved 2 replacement seats. If anyone has this issue, I'd suggest taking it back to the dealer.
  7. What I did to update my 2015, is I used a vin from a 2014 that had the same radio. My suggestion is to find an identical year Journey from the US and download that update.
  8. my ipad2 has the latest ios, it took 2 tries for it to take. the first time it did prompt "not avail while driving", but then prompted the pin code. Took the code but did not pair. Deleted it from the ipad the uconnect and repaired. it took.
  9. Decided to have a Flip down DVD installed. It's a Concept CFD-105M. It's 10.1" screen with mirroring capabilities from cell phones. I was kinda torn about getting the factory monitor but for less $$, i went with this. The only thing that had me thinking was the rear ac controls, so we took it apart and left it connected inside the headliner and used its opening for the monitor. I also got bored and decided to install some HID's i had laying around, just had to spring $20 for a harness.
  10. Everyone has their reasons, but I don't think you would need to swap out the struts. The springs should lower it about an inch. Which I'm considering doing to my 2015 Crossroad. The swaybar should make a nicer difference. By changing the rear only it should make the DJ more neutral feel instead of under steering. I haven't had an opportunity to look through the oem parts guide, but it should be a nicer feeling ride.
  11. My 2015 had no updates, but I used a vin from a 2014 with the same radio and used that update which was more current than the original one.
  12. Don't sweat it, between 3 kids and the wife, my time is limited too. I too am looking for alternatives.
  13. Does anyone know how large of a SD card will it take? Or how large of a portable hard drive.
  14. Kinda waiting to find out too. If not may look into buying factory sub enclosure and replace with different woofer. Or looking to measure Pioneer prefab shallow enclosure box for 8" to go under seat.
  15. Check your phone to see if it needs an update. If not, delete extra Bluetooth connections on your unit and make your phone is set to be preferred connection.
  16. I've been looking through other dodge forums reading the same about quality. Apparently, the update for the 8.4A radio got audio driver updates. My 2015 offers no updates, but I used a vin from a 2014 DJ and used that update with about the only thing I noticed was better Bluetooth connectivity. I tried to use the firmware from the Charger but it's in an *.iso format, not *.kwi that ours used. Going to try burning it on a DVD to see if it'll update that way.
  17. I downloaded one from a 2014 SXT. It uses the same unit, so i used a vin from a 2014 model, downloaded and installed it on my 2015. I don't have remote start on mines, but the bluetooth seems to connect within 5-10 secs of starting the car.
  18. I saw the same as far as Bluetooth connecting quicker. I'm just waiting for uconnect to make the LG G3 100% compliant for our units.
  19. yes it works on the 2015.. just did it on mines today. I didn't see any changes in the menu or function. Just want my uconnect to read/display my LG memory card like my wifes Cherokee does
