Rear door rubbing on roof

Just picked up our new 2015 R/T. Has anyone had any problem with the top lip of the rear door rubbing in the roof when you open wnd close it. Maybe it is just an adjustment. Don't now, but it sounds like a turkey call when you open it. Taking it to the dealer next week.

No, my brother is a body guy and must adjustments are done by brute force on doors etc...Without the owner watching that is LOL . Kinda hard to adjust that area without causing another corner to move also ? Is there a depression in the top edge or something ?Are the rest of the three sides all even and aligned ?

The door seems to be aligned in all other aspects. The top lip of the door in the center ( about 6" ) rubs ok the concave part of the roof. When it is all the way open or closed, it seems to fit perfect. It has not rubbed through the paint yet. I put a thin layer of grease on it, until I get in into he shop. Thanks for your input. Dave

They may be able to move the top rear edge of the door by moving the bottom hinge. When I bought my new Nitro, both rear doors were out of alignment to the point of wearing off the paint. My Dealer's Body Shop fixed both in about 5 minutes.

Since you just picked it up, there may be no damage to the paint, but check it anyway as previously noted. And if this were me, I wouldn't use the door until it is realigned to protect the paint.
