Extended Brake Warranty Notice?

Recommended Posts

Off topic - does anyone know if you need a special tool to push the front brake caliper piston back in (to put the new pads in)? Or can you just use a c-clamp to push them in like other vehicles?

My understanding is you need a special tool for the rear but the fronts is a straight forward change like any other car (c-clamp). There is a topic somewhere on here regarding the process for the rears. Cheers

I have a 2011 Mainstreet. I am taking it in Monday to find out what all is wrong with my brakes. They shimmy and pulse as well. I have had it in earlier for a Brake concern. No brake dust on front rims, back ones would be black with brake dust! They said nothing wrong, brakes were functioning properly! Yeah right, my @$$! My Journey is just over a year old and have 21,000 miles. Depending on cost and problems I may just bite the bullet and get aftermarket rotors and pads all around.
