Robert Miller
I have a 2016 Journey that lives in the garage, and I am finishing the space behind it into a small kitchen area. The under cabinet range hood choice is stalling me. The cabinets are 30 inches wide with a low soffit, so depth and duct routing are tight, and I keep wondering whether a low-profile hood will actually clear the top of the Journey's hood when I pull in. Another concern is makeup air in a closed garage with the door down; passive vents may not be enough when the fan runs on high. I have only read online specs and installation notes, nothing hands-on. If you have put a hood over a garage or shop counter, what did you choose and how did you handle clearance, ducting and airflow? I would rather learn from real setups than guess. 5rebel9
SORRY. I can't help with that one....I don't have a garage. Perhaps you could finance me in putting one up, and then I would try doing what you are wanting to do to reciprocate to your request!.....LOL😇 jkeaton
jkeaton Posted yesterday at 11:54 AM Report Share Posted yesterday at 11:54 AM As far as clearance goes, I'd start by measuring things.....still trying to picture how you are going to use said kitchen with a car parked under the range hood 🤔 2late4u
