Locosiete
For fun decided to take apart the rear controller and need to say, it was a smidge loose. One screws for the vents was missing and other fell off as i was opening so it was soo loose. The one that was missing is completely stripped out. Wonder if that vibration is have coming from the back caused it 🤣🤣🤣 Edited October 2, 2025 by Locosiete typo 5rebel9 and 2late4u

I still am amazed that the car's windows have not blown out yet! LOL Locosiete
The Salmon
I had pulled off the rear roof controls, cleaned them up and tightened the dials. The front and rear worked perfectly! However, after a 50 mile trip hitting some bumps it started doing the same thing...not shutting off the fan, sync went off and the rear A/C controls acted up. I'm gonna just remove the dials on the unit, reinstall the roof controls to see what happens. I'm perfectly fine with controlling the rear from the front screen. I'm thinking if removing the dials and installing some lights instead this way it will still sense the controls so I can reroute the rear ducts for the rear pump and battery Eventually I will do it lol

When I did ours, I also bent the contact arms on the dials down some to give firmer contact. Don't know if you did the same when you had it apart. I also posted of the take apart and repair OR get another unit......LOL

Like I said, it worked until I hit a few bumps🤪

Good Luck in how you effect a solution on your ride. Edited October 3, 2025 by 5rebel9
Locosiete
An interesting development. So i plugged in the rear HVAC controller without the 1 loose dial to see if for some odd reason it would still work and allow to control it from the front controller. Luckily does, so my plan to replumb the rear vents is possible. But I found if I turned the dial on the heat or selector switch on the rear it would still do the annoying turn on the AC while appearing to be off. For fun I went into the front controller settings and locked the rear controller. Even with turn the rear knob or using the loose connection from the broken knob it never came on. Has anyone else suffering from this problem tried to lock the rear controls and see if it still comes on?
5rebel9
The forum is full of the suggestion to do that (lock the rear by the front control panel), but I can't recall that any of them posted back results. I'm wondering if connector solder joints on the circuit board panel is yours and a few others with this "mystery" is your culprit. The HVAC controls are still working FINE on my repair on the '11 my son drives. Locosiete
