  3. SORRY!! So you feel that I should replace the radio/cd, TGM/radio.... Do you feel that this usit could cause my blank screen??
  4. Now I'm confused, what are you calling the TCM/radio?
  5. Thanks, I did find an OEM radio/screen and replaced it, did not solve the issue. I'll start with cleaning the posts, but it needs a new battery anyway.
  6. 2012 Journey info screen went blank. Thought it was the uConnect and replaced it with an OEM, still did not come on.. I was reading somewhere that a faulty ignition switch may cause this as I have at times got the "NO Key Fob" sign even though I had just replaced the battery. Also, the vehicle will not crank or start sometimes and all I need to do is connect a portable charger and it starts right up. Any thoughts on this as a radio and the AC/Heater controls would be a nice addition to have🙂
  7. 2012 Journey has a blank uconnect screen. It went out after a couple of quick flashes, also, the lights on the center console that holds the screen, A/C controls etc. flash off and on when night driving. I purchased a screen off of eBay hoping this fixes the issue but was concerned that the lights coming off and on are a different issue. Help, please!!!
  8. I did try that while cleaning out the controls. Like I said, it worked until I hit a few bumps🤪
  9. I had pulled off the rear roof controls, cleaned them up and tightened the dials. The front and rear worked perfectly! However, after a 50 mile trip hitting some bumps it started doing the same thing...not shutting off the fan, sync went off and the rear A/C controls acted up. I'm gonna just remove the dials on the unit, reinstall the roof controls to see what happens. I'm perfectly fine with controlling the rear from the front screen.
  10. I have ordered a new HVAC Control Module. Gonna replace it and see if that fixes the issues. If not, I will disconnect the rear control and try that. I'll keep you posted
  11. Thanks, I give it a try!!! Will this help the front fan from turning on by itself?
  12. Sorry, Yes it has dual zone. I will check the rear roof controls for a wiring issue as discussed in this thread. Also gonna try pulling any fuses associated with the Climate Control. Thanks for the quick reply.
  13. On my 2012 Journey, the fan will not shut off. Also, and it will un-sync after a few minutes. The rear climate control will not keep the setting after I leave the screen, i.e., if I set it to the coolest temp it will go to the hottest temp when I leave the screen. I used the rear controls to set it to the lowest fan setting and moved the air flow to the floor. I just have the 4 inch screen and no driver/passenger separate control.
  14. My 2012 Journey has the same issues. The fan will not shut off, if I shut it off it just comes back on. Also, it will un-sync after awhile, and the rear climate control will not keep a setting. If I set it to the lowest temp and fan speed it will just go to the highest temp after I leave the setting screen. I had to use the rear controls to move the air to to the floor. I do not have dual controls and the screen is the 4 inch.
  15. Thanks for the reply. I did find a leak on the hose that connects the two fuel rails. I'm gonna change the purge valve anyway, the car has 149000 on it so I'm calling it a maintenance part! BTW, This 2012 Journey is a pain to work on!! I had an exhaust leak on bank 1 exhaust manifold/Cat. What a stupid design!!! I ended up having to take it to a shop, couldn't do this in my garage. No more front/AWD vehicles for me.
  16. My 2012 Doge Journey SXT 3.6 smells like gas after it is turned off. I have no leaks under the car. The odor seems to be coming from the engine bay. Do you think I have a bad purge valve?? Thanks in Advance Carl
  17. As I was plugging everything back into the intake manifold, this plug snapped out. I cannot find where it plugs back into. HELP!!!!
  18. Hello, All! Just completed replacing the oil pressure sensor on my 2012 DJ 3.6. I also replaced the spark plugs while I was in there. I was very careful and did not drop anything into the intake. that said, when I started it up, it began to rap back near #1. It sounds like a bent valve. Again, it was difficult to locate the rapping while the engine was running, but using my probe it sounds like it's back by #1. The engine is not missing, shaking or missing if I accelerate to around 3000RPM. I am stumped. I did nothing to that area except replace a spark plug!! With the probe, the Loud ticking almost seems to be stronger at the cam phaser. Any thoughts??
