ABS and Traction control lights

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I have a 2018 dodge journey and about a month ago during our HEAVY snow we got my ABS and traction control lights came on. Once everything thawed out I went and got a car wash to try and wash the sensors off and see if that was the problem but they stayed on. I took it to a mechanic and had them read the code for me and got: c003A-62. So they said its the right rear wheel speed sensor -  signal compare failure. Can anyone advise on this? Does it need a detail clean? Do we need to reset the system? Replace sensors? I'm so lost and don't want to be taken advantage of at a mechanics shop.

should have let them replace it since they knew which wheel senor was bad, the  cost of senors are not expensive depends on which brand but from 25- 100 for it not to hard to replace, google it on you tube if you want to do it yourself
