I got one for my 2015 R/T. They were a little slow to ship, but the guard was a good fit and looks real nice.

Even though the CEL isn't on, the codes are probably stored from when the different warning light came on. See if you can pull them.

Yep, do mine online all the time. As long as your driving record is clean, you can even renew your driver's license online too. I can't remember the last time I actually went to their location to do any of that stuff.

Sounds like an ignition switch problem, so if you haven't had the ignition switch recall repair done, it might get you a fix for free.
-
You would think Dodge, Uconnect, or whoever would get this issue fixed. It has to be costing them a lot of money to replace all these units.

Assuming you have push button start? Are you asking if the motor will stay running if you exit the car with the FOB?

Went back to the dealer today and got the DRLs working finally. This time the lead Dodge tech took care of it and knew exactly what needed to be done. All the service manager could say was "thanks for the education" ... LOL

Do you guys know if the light switch needs to be in the "Auto" position for the DRLs to work? JM425 added the sales code for me and I had the dealer do a reconfiguration. With the light switch in the off position, the DRLs don't come on. When the switch is set to auto, the lights come on when it's daylight outside, but I cant really see a visual difference between it and the normal headlights being on as far as brightness. Also, if they are supposed to be running at a lower voltage than normal then why does the Uconnect control (8.4 screen) get dim when they come on?
Thanks!
EDIT: Never mind, the stupid dealer didn't do a reconfiguration because the mechanic said they were already turned on in the UConnect options. I even brought them instructions on what needed to be done. All the mechanic did was turn the switch to "Auto" and saw that the light came on, which he assumed they should not. Apparently inside the shop is just dark enough to make them come on. Back we go again!

My results from RPG were good too. The only complaint was that it took a full week for them to shipt it, and when I inquired about when it might ship they never replied. Once it arrived, it was in perfect condition and only took a few minutes to install on my 2015 DJ R/T AWD. They are a little spendy, but they do look very nice!

Glad everything worked out in the end JM425, you might consider wrapping the car with bubblewrap.... LOL

I use the genuine Mopar touchup paint. If you have your paint code, it's easy to find online.
-
You won't be able to keep the paint around it from chipping further by just using touchup paint. Bite the bullet and get it fixed proper, especially seing how the car is only a couple months old. To answer your question... yes, unprotected bare metal will eventually rust.

What number did the original bulbs have on them?
