  1. Don't need donor VIN code, just VIN for vehicle that it is going in to, along with the serial # of the radio. I don't believe that you will need sales code flashed, if so shouldn't cost much at the dealer. I can get you the unlock code, just send info via PM.
  2. No dealer programming is required, the new sensors will self-learn/program into the system after the vehicle is driven awhile.
  3. The RA4 (new 2nd generation 8.4" radio) requires wiring/BUS system upgrades and is being added in all-new vehicles as well as vehicles with extensive mid-cycle refreshes. The journey will probably not see the new RA3/RA4 radios until the next gen "JD" model launches in the summer of 2016.
  4. When you're ready, you'll want to get a hold of a current dealer order guide, which will list all of the features and options for all trim lines, plus MSRP and invoice cost. If you're thinking of getting a 2016 model, order banks will open in June.
  5. In the U.S. the 3.6 is standard on the SE AWD, while the 2.4 is standard (and the only engine available) on the SE FWD. In Canada the 2.4 is the only choice on the CVP/SE Plus models. You must step up to the SXT to get the 3.6, and it's a $2,000 option.
  6. Unless they have Hill Start Assist, which a ton of Chrysler and other brand vehicles have. You'll probably see it on the 2016 Journey.
  7. They use PS Fluid +4 p/n 05166226AA. ATF+4 is 05013457AA.
  8. 3.5L? Not sure if it will help but I have attached a pdf file for P0340 diagnostics. Also found this: All model vehicles built 1/17/2008 thru 5/16/2008 equipped with a 3.5L or 4.0L engine which are setting a P0344/P0340 DTC above 3000 RPM may have a camshaft drive gear tone ring separation issue occurring. The tone ring may be completely separated from the sprocket or still attached, but not parallel to the sprocket causing runout. Inspect the camshaft drive gear tone ring for proper alignment. If the drive gear tone ring exhibits one of the two defects, then replace the component. p0340_2010_Journey.pdf
  9. Should be an easy fix, just release the side tabs and drop it down a bit to re-adjust, then re-seat it back in place.
  10. Never understood spending the extra $$ for a K&N filter. No power or mileage gains, and if it's supposedly less restrictive... then it has to let in more dirt.
  11. Twelve years ago this month, Chrysler introduced its first factory nav radio, the RB1 (debuting first in the 2004 Grand Cherokee). It was also offered as a Mopar accessory to fit most 2002-2003 models, and could be easily retrofitted to pre-2002 models. Nav radios have sure come a long way!
  12. I wonder how well it holds up long-term, seems like it could be scratched/scuffed easily. The replacement parts cost for all 6 pieces is $175 (U.S. MSRP). Anyone out there have any issues with the blackout tape?
  13. Here's a great door trim removal article that will help: http://www.paulstravelpictures.com/Dodge-Journey-Interior-Door-Panel-Removal-Guide/index.html
  14. Yes, with the railcar number you can track it every step of the way via the UP railway tracking system. Your railcar # is TTGX 978629 Call 800-877-5123, "1" for english when prompted, then say 'trace' when given the three options. When asked for the number, wait for break of silence after lady is speaking and then use voice and say "T-T-G-X-9-7-8-6-2-9" slowly and clearly. Do not use the option to just enter the numbers only on your keypad as it will not work.
  15. I put together this file for you. For some inexplicable reason, attachments on this forum are limited to a ridiculous 19kb in size (about enough to post a 1-sentence PDF file). 2013_Journey_exterior_mirror_removal.pdf
  16. It's the Mopar version, same as production. But if you want I can double-check via your VIN, pm me last 8 digits.
  17. Part Number: 82211695AB MSRP: $166.00 (U.S.) / $224.00 (Canada) Dual Channel Audio Kit. Two sets of headphones, six batteries and a remote control. To be used only with Production DVD Rear Seat Video DVD Systems.
  18. Ideally, when re-installing the 2nd row seats: Tighten all four seat track to floor fasteners to 95 Nm (70 ft. lbs.) in the following sequence: a. Front inboard bolt b. Front outboard bolt c. Rear inboard nut d. Rear outboard bolt (the above procedure will result in easier fore/aft movemnet of the seats).
  19. +10 mpg, towing a heavy trailer uphill vs no trailer downhill? Sure. But sport mode, +10 mpg or anywhere near that, I say impossible. IF it were true, Dodge would sell the vehicles 'locked' into sport mode!
