  1. One possibility: Symptom/Vehicle Issue: Washer Light On And/or Washer Light Will Not Go Out After Adding Washer Solvent. Discussion: Vehicles that use a continuity prong style washer level sensor are designed to work with most alcohol based washer solvents. We have received information that some rain repellant solvents may not register properly. The rain repellant washer solvents have been found to coat the sensor tips with a residue that will not allow an accurate reading. Some of the rain repellant washer solvents are orange in color, but may not necessarily be. If the customers complaint matches the Symptom/Vehicle Issue above, verify the washer solvent condition and color. If the solvent appears contaminated or its condition is unknown, it may be necessary to drain the reservoir and also remove and clean the washer level sensor.

  5. I posted your status in another thread... Try: https://www.jeep.com/vots/index.html (they have been having issues with the VOTS system so not sure if it will bring up your info or not).
  6. Edit: forgot this was answered in another post.
  7. You have to remove the heat shield to get to the sensor (heat shield is area with bunches of small circles, loosen the long bolt that is shown above the shield). The p/n is the same for both sensors (68080819AB). However, the diagnostics for P000B do not at all involve changing the sensor... The diagnostics procedure is complex, but here are the solutions listed in order of probability of cause: ENGINE OIL DIRTY OR CONTAMINATED INCORRECT ENGINE OIL VISCOSITY ENGINE OIL PRESSURE SENSOR OR CIRCUIT ENGINE OIL TEMPERATURE SENSOR OR CIRCUIT (F344) FUSED ASD/MAIN RELAY OUTPUT CIRCUIT OPEN OR SHORTED (K276) VVT EXHAUST CONTROL CIRCUIT OPEN OR SHORTED VVT EXHAUST SOLENOID CAMSHAFT 1/2 PHASER IMPROPER ASSEMBLY OF CAMSHAFT/CRANKSHAFT TIMING CHAIN AND SPROCKETS HIGH FRICTION IN CAMSHAFT OR OTHER VALVETRAIN COMPONENTS POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE (PCM) --Milous
  8. Pre-release 10/03/2014 07:02 AM CDT Toluca Assembly, EM Next step, which should be soon, would be "D1" (Scheduled for production").
  9. None of the new hoses come up in the parts system for the 2015 model year. The only thing I see is that there are revisions to the original part numbers, which means that some sort of change was made. It may be that they are using the "6814..." parts just for repairs on prior model years, and for what just might be a reduced number of failures on brand new models.
  10. The only fluids recommended/spec'd by Chrysler are those that I listed. I don't believe that switching to a non-spec'd fluid would solve the issue, otherwise Chrysler would not have gone to the trouble and expense of manufacturing new hoses. A different fluid could possibly create other issues, and I would certainly not recommend doing that especially if the vehicle is still under warranty. For the hose-splitting issue, Chrysler has released new hoses/parts for vehicles that would be encountering temperatures of 23°C (-10°F) and below. Here are the part numbers: 68143978AA LHD Return Hose Assembly (Replaces 05085546AB) 68143979AA RHD Return Hose Assembly (Replaces 05085327AC) 68143990AA Return Assembly Cooler Loop (Replaces 04766279AD) 68143980AA Return Assembly Cooler Loop Style (Replaces 68058397AC & 68058397AF) 68143991AA Return Assembly Cooler Fin Style (Replaces 05154457AA & 05154457AD) You have to determine the original standard replacement part for your vehicle (under "Replaces..." above) and substitute the new part (first number listed).
  11. MOPAR Power Steering Fluid +4 (p/n 05013457AA quart bottle). If MOPAR +4 is not available, then MOPAR ATF +4 Automatic Transmission Fluid (P/N 05166226AA) is acceptable.
  12. Screen is the same for 2011-2014 Journey & Charger. Unlock code no big deal, just need radio model and serial number and VIN of vehicle it's going in to.
  13. The 2014 Journey uses the same base part number ("68210553"), however "AA" is a very early release (the first issue) and the Journey started with "AE" (5th revision). Unless you are getting a great deal on it, I would search for a newer version (each progression of the part # suffix represents a revision - i.e., "AA", "AB", "AC", "AD", "AE").
  14. There is no online source/website for detailed info on the part numbers that I am aware of. I can tell you for certain that P68210553AB is an RE2. The only part numbers you should be looking at for an RB5 are what I posted above, it is a complete list. Note - I edited my post above, "68210554ZH" is the latest and most current part number for the 2014 radios ($2050 U.S. MSRP).
  15. The newer the better... For the screen, p/n 5064993AI is the same for the 2011-2015 Journey. For the radio, the part numers have changed each year, I would stay with the 2014 to best match your vehicle (68210554AE) The suffix change on part numbers (such as AG to AH) typically signifies a minor change/update. A totally new part number is a more significant change. 2011 Radio 5091135AG superseded to AH 2012 Radio 5091038AF superseded to / AG / AH / AI / AJ 2013 Radio 5091367AE superseded to / AF 2014 Radio 68210554AE (also 68210554ZE or 68210554ZH) 2015 Radio 68240130AA For reference: MSRP on the 5064993AI screen is $1410 (U.S.) and $1900 (Canada) For some reason pricing is not listed for the 68210554AE radio. Early model year radios have listed for around $1200 (U.S.) and $2000 (Canada). Also, see this thread: http://www.dodgejourneyforum.com/topic/3482-installing-84-uconnect-actually-doing-it/
  16. The RB5 Navigation radio was an option on all 2014 Journey models except the base model. The part numbers for the RB5 in the 2014 Journey are: Radio: 68210554AE Screen: 5064993AI
  17. Which browser are you using? I know for Firefox I had to left-click on the "shield" icon (at the left of the address bar) and from the drop down box I selected "Disable protection on this page".
  18. The head swap is an all-day job for the tech's, warranty billing allowance for labor is 9.4 hours.
  19. 1. Position the 40 split seat with back folded flat, to the full forward position. 2. Partially remove the armrest side shield and remove the mounting fastener. 3. NOTE: Only perform the following steps if the cover or foam replacement is required. 5. Remove the armrest plastic cover, by carefully prying up until the retainers disengage. 6. 20. For Canada, the sunroof is an available option ($1295) on all 2015 models except CVP/SE PLUS.
