Sometimes it's the simple things.

Will, I picked up my baby today and the problem was the brake clips was not lineup right per the dealer. No charge under warranty Now there is no more noise.

I am having the same issue. My car is at the dear now, would you believe I only had the car for 4 weeks only 2014.. The car may return back to me tomorrow. I will update with the news.

Is it AWD? If so, I would suspect the CV joint. If not, jack up the rear end and spin the wheel and see if you can pinpoint where it's coming from. Has it always done it or just recently started? Is the noise noticeable inside or outside or both? Have you done any inspection of the wheel/tire/brakes?

well if the clicking is coming from the front when you are turning a tight turn it would prob. be a cvc joint but from the rear dont know, i would try a different dealer the next time you take it in.

Hi I just brought my 2012 Journey in Febuary this year. There is a strange clicking noise coming from what sounds like the back left tire. I have a warranty and have been to the dealer 3 times for the same issue. I was checking online for recalls or others with the same problem when I ran into this forum. Is there any other Dodge Journey owners with the same problems?

Welcome to the forum! Beer solves everything! Only thing I can think of is there has been some reports of the wiring that goes between the body and the tailgate getting damaged inside the wire loom. Might start there.

I took the minus cable off/on and started the engine - tested the camera - it worked,,, for 5s and it was blank again.
 
Also now the left rear lights are not working - so the very weird is back again - anyone seen anything like this ?

We now have a problem with rear lights and camera on DJ 2010 DCT
 
All started with register plate lights not working and ~at the same time the camera stopped working.
 
Changed the registerplate wires and pulps, got those working but the camera still dont. Then the reversing light (on right) stopped working, but at the same time the register plate lights stopped working - very much weird is that the rear light on right seems to work when the lights inside are on ?
 
So I may have a problem with wires (short circuit?), pulps ? or shall I remove the minus cable from the battery to see if it clears the problem or what ?

Take care!

Try disconnecting the negative terminal on your battery for at least 30 minutes for radio issues.  This is like a reboot on a computer.  You will not lose you radio presets.  The external amp is under the passenger front seat.  Make sure all of the the connectors are tightly seated.

In the EVIC, choose fuel economy.  The graph in mine is horizontal; not vertical.  There are a series of numbers across the top of the graph.  A small pointer will sit where the average mpg is at the present time.  The graph starts out yellow, and as you approach the pointer, it begins to turn green.  It also displays the instantaneous mpg at any given time.

Ok in dash unit replaced for the second time and review cam replacement ordered. Recall on power steering hose apparently but not in stock have to wait. Magically no one can hear the noise that sounds like a ford power steering pump on start up but gonna make them start a new Journey and then ours and compare the noise.
 
No air bag recalls like Willowbrook Dodge stated when the sales guy wanted to make a sale and get my wife to trade the Journey in. I tell her make sure if record the convo and video it when talking in the dealer. Sure it illegal but I'd rather go to court and have it public then people getting ripped off.

The 'reboot' procedure often resolves problems and, aside from having to reset your clock, has no side effects.

The 'micro dropout' issue was resolved with a 2011 update.  So it is not likely to be your issue.  Check with the uConnect web site to see if there are any downloadable updates available for your radio by entering your VIN:

Now you did it. Now I'm going to have to go and check out the new ones. 

The new ones are even nicer  . . . AND you'd get the big brakes.

LOL, maybe in a few years. The digital gauges in mine do have the multi colors, that's why I was thinking that I could change the mpg color.

If you like the colors, you'll LOVE the temperature and pressure gauges on the newer vehicles.

You can always trade yours in . . . . . .

Thanks for the replies. I was hoping for an easy change, kind of like those "hidden" ones, like hold these 2 buttons for 10 seconds, etc. I'll just leave it as is, just really liked the multi color.

So I have had the following issue with my 2012 Crew AWD.  So since the day we received the car the radio has done one of the following. When listening to FM Radio, CD, MP3 player or Bluetooth you can hear that the output to the speakers stops for about a second. Some days not at all, some days almost every minute. 
 
At other times the REB radio will freeze all-together. So bad that you have to stop the car, put it in park, turn off the motor, open the door then turn the car back on to get the radio to work. A video of the issue can be found below:
 
I have been told that there is a mysterious update disk by my German dealership, but that they can not obtain the disk to flash the radio due to warranty reasons between European Union and US.  Other possibilities is an issue between the head unit and the AMP.  Not sure what the issue is.  Maybe someone here has had similar experience.

So I own a 2012 AWD Crew purchased through overseas sales. The car is hitting the ~50,000 mile mark.  To this point I have replaced brake components front and back more than once now.  I get the feeling that the 2nd iteration for the front is coming already. Meaning both Rotors and Pads. Not happy. I already have a list of components in an amazon list ready to hit execute. However it only covers the front brakes. The parts are for the upgrade in size from the 2012 Journey brakes to the 2013 13" brakes. Looking to see if anyone has the 2013 Rear Brake part numbers from the same manufacturers listed in the list so that I have matching brake set-up for front and rear with increased stopping power.
 
If someone has a better overall setup for front and back I am all ears.

It has gotten annoying because I do live in Germany, and do have to opportunity to frequently drive at higher speeds on the Autobahn when unrestricted but that same ability is still killing the longevity of my brakes. Not to mention warping the front rotors in 2013.  That was not due to Autobahn speeds but descending a hill in the local area.
