Mine looks the same way. I had to put longer screws on mine when I put a plate cover on. The threads on the journey are recessed and the screws that came with it were barely long enough to hold the plate on without a cover.

I have to admit I was a little worried after I read all the complaints about the Kumhos, but I have a little over 20k miles on mine so far and no problems. They still track straight and have plenty of tread left. I expect to get around 45k before they wear out.

They must have made a change sometime during the 2013 model year because I had Journeyman check my 2013 sxt and he couldn't turn mine on either - the LMK code wasn't in my vehicles database.
