The RV was considered top of the line in its day. It was built by Travco Starting in 1963 with various changes up until 1980 when they were sold out of bankruptcy to Foretravel who continued building them up until the early 90's. From 63 to the early 70's these were sold as the Dodge Motorhome. They were available through Dodge dealerships and had a Dodge warranty. Ray Frank Started the company and one of the industry leaders that had RV's designated as Passenger vehicles instead of commercial trucks.

Maybe others have heard of this before, but I hadn't. . .  I followed the procedure shown in this video.  So far my windshield has been great in our monsoon rain and the bugs hardly stick.  Cool easy trick to improve vision through the windshield.

    Peace.

It also comes in handy when camping!  Kelley Blue Book lists both the DJ and the Caravan in their top 10 picks for 2016.

Has anyone yet had an oil leak on their 3.6?  I have not.  I really hope that these cars are not plagued by oil leaks.  I'd like to think oil leaks are something we DJ owners will not have to deal with if we take care of our engines.   Just wondering.

    Peace.

No leaks here yet. Just hit 26k km here, about 15k miles I guess. I have heard nothing but good things about the Pentastar engines so far. It is used in a LOT of vehicles.

I'm also on a Mopar minivan forum.  The 3.6 has been in use in the GC/T&C platform since 2011 as well, and no one is complaining about anything beyond the 2011 head issues and, more recently, the difficulty of changing out spark plugs.  Past that, the 3.6 appears to be a rock solid engine.

No leaks for me.  Sitting at around 13,000 miles in two years.

Just picked up a 2016 Silver R/T AWD.  We wanted the Granite, but they were heading to pick it up, and a hauler took out the back bumper and quarter, and smashed out two windows...can't wait to mod.

evening rolly, no we bought it last October and purchased the gold plus warranty from the local dodge dealer. I do have the print outs from the dealer showing all work done on it from the previous owner, the older lady that was the original owner was local & rarely drove it in winter according to the service records but she did have it rust checked so the body & underside are very clean.

I would take it apart again.  The circuit board can be popped off.  Rinse the battery, circuit board, FOB and key in RO water, or a bottle of mineral water (read the label for ingredients and dry everything with a hair dryer.  You want to remove all traces of salt.

I just noticed that yours is a 2010, I have the push button start , but there was a recall on the Fobik for the 2010 Journey. Check to see if it was completed.

I doubt that it's related. You can leave your vehicle with the fob and the Journey will continue to run as long as as no one shuts it off. There have been owners who have complained about losing power while driving. Are you the original owner?

I had my seats Scothguarded in January 2013 and just had them redone in June. We're empty nesters which makes it easier to keep them clean.
