Just thought I would update. The dealer dropped the pan and replaced the oil pump/gaskets/oil to correct the P06DA code. So far so good, no codes! Thank goodness it was covered by powertrain warranty!

They also dropped the transmission pan to change the fluid/filter. Both pans dropped in the same day .

Oh my hell, its a freaking bolt on an engine cover!! I've never seen so much grief over such a negligible subject.

Oh wow, my dodge just went to the dealership this morning for a transmission fluid change. We will see if they end up applying this recall!

Well, my P06DA code disappeared for about 3-4 months so I figured it had fixed itself. Now it's back with a vengeance doing the same shenanigans. I guess I'll have to suck it up and go to the dealer finally. I'm at 96k miles, so better get it done now before the powertrain warranty expires!

I HATE GOING TO THE DEALER!!!

We have a 5, 3, and almost 1/2 year old. The 5 year old sits in the third row in a booster...he climbs in and out no problem. In front of him (behind the driver seat) is the 5 month old in the infant seat rear facing. We don't have any problem fitting the infant rear facing seat or the clip on base. Behind the passenger is the 3 year old in the convertible car seat forward facing. No problems with her fitting there. The only issue I could see is if you have one of those giant convertible seats rear facing, then it would take up a ton of room. Is that the type of rear facing car seat you have? We like the graco infant seats since you can easily clip/unclip the car seat from the base.

It's the norm...low beams stay on when you turn the highs on.

Do you think you bought a vehicle that was victim to flood damage?

It's the same with any other vehicle that has a door (at least out of the 10 vehicles I've owned)...

I can't find the part number or name for the little rubber insert that's in each door handle. The little cubby where you can't put stuff in, and grab the door to close it. My kids left some crayons inside one of the door handles, and needless to say it melted all over. Luckily the removable rubber insert caught it all, but it's ruined. Dyed all different colors and that waxiness won't clean off very well. Thanks!

Your sure the clear sticker covering the drain holes in the doors are removed? That was a common problem on many DJ's; Dodge forgot to remove the drain hole stickers on all the doors and the hatch. Check the bottom of the doors to see...

Only worry when it gets to 240F according to the manual. Mine runs around 210 on hot days

I'd say it's time for some plastidip! Mine are slightly starting to do this too, probably from greasy fingers touching it all the time.

Correct, it doesn't chime until you close the door after getting out. If you get out of the vehicle and leave the door cracked open, it will never chime. It waits to sense the door closed first.

I would not personally waste hours of my day to have the dealer replace $1 worth of washer hose. I just do it myself...but that's just me!

If you can hear the pump running then a hose came disconnected somewhere. I've had two little issues with mine, first the passenger side nozzle broke so it was spraying fluid all inside the engine bay. I super glued that to fix it. Later on, the stiff plastic hose broke on the driver side. Slipped a little rubber hose over the broken connections to get it running again.

Hopefully you lubed up the caliper slides real good and they aren't getting stuck!

Looks excellent! What are the details on the light bar? Where did you get it, how much, specs?

Wow, such a ridiculous outburst over such a minor problem (if even at all). Take your freaking keys off the chain and the problem is solved. People choose the most minor things to explode over.

Oh, and the V6 is a MUST in my opinion. Gets practically the same mpg (we get 26-28 on the highway), yet has way more power and can tow a decent amount when needed.

Many of the problems were in the past years (growing pains for undersized brakes, clunky transmission, etc). There's very few major problem children out there though...seems to be a very dependable vehicle for most. 2015 vehicles seem to be very good so far...much bigger brakes the last few years, and a lot fewer clunky transmission complaints. The clunky transmission on my 2012 is just a nuisance...it isn't hurting anything, just louder than some are used to. We have 93k miles on our 2012 DJ and have loved every bit of it. The only issue we had was a recall to replace the cylinder head right after we bought it. That and replacing the undersized brakes every 40k miles (but that's only a few hundred bucks). Other that, pretty much problem free. And it's really hard to find a similar bang for the buck value. You can't even come close to the ~$25k price for a new vehicle with all the features and seating for 7. You'd pay $10k more for the Toyota, Honda, etc comparison vehicle.

Just remember, the people that take the time to leave reviews online, are usually the small percentage with problems and they want to complain to the world. I ignore online vehicle reviews and complaint sites...nothing but trash information out there. Just use your own judgment.

Have you checked the exhaust? Maybe the catalytic convertor or something broke apart and is stuck inside the exhaust pipe somewhere? I had a cat break apart on a 15 year old car once, and it was a definite annoying rattle like you described. Take a rubber mallet to all sections of the exhaust and shake it around everywhere to see if you hear it.
