    R/T Rallye Specs

Did you have to argue much with your dealer to get the compensation? My dealer is only offering me a towing hitch at cost, which only saves me $50+tax. I told them thats not enough considering I ordered the Rallye in early March based solely on the brochure and what I was told by the sales guy, and there was no mention of the seat no longer being embroidered. In fact the sales guy read the same brochure too me and promoted that option as a nice feature of the upgrade. So today I'm suppose to pick up the Rallye, but I've told them I won't be until I'm offered something better as compensation. I'd honestly rather have the correct seats, but considering all the Rallye models were made without them its going to be a hard fight to try and make Chrysler do a factory run to make one set of seats.
  2. What models of Journey include this? I'm ordered a 2012 Rallye AWD and had to order the Tow Prep Package to get it. Did I pay for something I already have?
  3. I'm suppose to pick up my Journey today and I ordered the Tailer Tow Prep package but it does not include the receiver. Is this normal?
  4. Same here, I'm only missing the built in booster seats..................and now the R/T embroidered seats. I'm still confused how something that is suppose to be part of the base factory build of a Rallye can be overlooked.
  5. That reminded me, the Ford was just a fender bender that took out my front fascia, wasn't a wreck. My bad. I haven't picked up my Journey yet due to a problem with the seat backs not being embroidered so I can only compare my imports to it based on the RT AWD I drove before ordering my Rallye. As far as power and straight line go my imports don't have a chance, but if I feel like holding a few corners the Acura is still the one to beat in my garage (past and present).
  6. Does anyone know why Chrysler is not shipping the Rallye with the R/T embroidered seat backs as stated in the Journey brochure and other spec documents. I'm suppose to be picking 2012 Rallye today but the seat backs are not embroidered and I'm not sure if I should accept delivery until its corrected?
  7. Mine hasn't been delivered yet, but I'll definitely keep an eye out for this.
  8. I just purchased one of these to go along with my Weathertech floor mats. http://www.weathertech.ca/dodge/2012/journey/cargo-liner
  9. Congrats! I should be picking my Rallye up this week, after months of waiting. Did yours have the R/T embroidered seat backs that were supposed to be included?
  10. I'm curious to see this different pattern. Do you have any pictures showing the difference?
  11. I like. Any chance your guy could do a set for me? How much?

I've done some investigation and I think I figured it out, not the same dealership. Fingers crossed I'll get the bracket without forcing the dealer to hand it over.

What dealer did you buy from? I'm from Ottawa too and waiting for my Rallye to come in but won't be accepting delivering without the bracket. I've also seen many Journeys around the city with the same bumper and bracket, I think yours is the first I've seen with this bumper and no bracket.
  14. Agreed, there is no timer in a transmission. Since I was 16 I've owned many used vehicles that I bought well past any warranty and still had original engine/trans and not all if any were serviced regularly, not even a fluid change. All of which I ended up putting 100,000+ KMs (excluding the few that were wrecked) on before I decided it was time for a vehicle change. Its only recently that I've started purchasing new, but mostly because I like the new techy features todays vehicles have. With that said, I still own a 91 Acura and 05 Hyundai and just sold a 96 Ford that have about 200,000 KM each and are still running strong. Albeit, the majority of my cars are/were manual transmissions which might be a huge factor in my experience.
  15. I should be picking up my Rallye this week but I ordered the Weathertech mats around a month ago expecting a delay. I ordered black mats for all three rows on a Wednesday night and they were delivered to my door on Friday afternoon. I used standard shipping and ordered from Weathertech.ca. My mats are designed for two hooks on the driver side.
  16. I agree, a new vehicle should have 0% rust, however considering it is a lease wouldn't the dealership fix anything that breaks? I've never leased a vehicle, but thought this was one of the few benefits of leasing.

    R/T Rallye Specs

I ordered a Rallye a few months back and still waiting for it to arrive. The salesman even promoted the embroidered seats during the sale so if anything is not as expected I won't be taking delivery until its corrected, and I'm not accepting financial compensation as restitution either. When I order something a certain way I expect it that way or not at all. Either way, I'll update when mine does finally arrive.
