  1. you mean after driving the car right? i assume once you remove the fob, the car will shut off, but you can then start it remotely after the keyfob is removed.
  2. I just plug the IPOD into the interface cable in the glovebox, set the sterio to AUX and enjoy the sound. The Uconnect is for hands free connectivity with your cellular phone
  3. when you go in to get the u-connect vaoice recog. recallibrated, asked them for a demontration for the new VES. and question them about the FMM ask them to show you the actual module behind the glovebox If it is a new prcedure, they still will owe you the FMmodule as well as any other unused parts. it was part of the package and you paid for it sorry I wasn't much help, but electronics/wiring makes my brain hurt cheers, Ron
  4. if you took it in for that problem, while it was still under warranty, the dealership will have it on file. and if the problem hasn't been fixed, they should come good for the repairs. At least that's what both dealerships I have ever dealt have told me.
  5. I talked with a salesman at my local dealership yesterday and asked the same question. He said that there are still 2010 models landing at the dealers. So I am guessing that the 2011 models will still be more than a month or two away, as you can still build a 2010 from the Dodge site. If that is indeed the case, before we see any 2011 models, the assembly plant would still need to be retrofitted with the new tooling for the upcoming new models.
  6. Changing the Tail Lamp or Backup Lamp Open the liftgate. Remove the two fasteners retaining the taillamp housing to the liftgate from the inboard face of the liftgate. Carefully insert a trim stick (plastic flat-blade tool) between the taillamp housing and the liftgate. Use the trim stick and hand pressure together to disengage the taillamp housing from the liftgate. Rotate the applicable bulb's electrical connector ¼ turn counterclockwise and remove it from the housing. 1 Tail Lamp Bulb 2 Backup Lamp Bulb Remove the bulb from the connector socket and install the replacement bulb. Install the bulb and connector assembly into the housing and rotate the connector ¼ turn clockwise to lock it in place. Reinstall the taillamp housing and fasteners.
  7. you're quite welcome, glad to help when i can. cheers, Ron
  8. those sizes you quoted would make a 0.4% difference, and that is totally acceptable when your speedo reads 60mph you'd actually be travelling 59.8mph
  9. 255/50-19 >>>>41 choices $172 and up 245/55-19>>>>>>4 choices $177 to $186 255/55-19>>>>>>13 choices $171 to $254 ***** exact size as the 16" and 17" found these on Tire Rack's website. a bit expensive but at least there is a variety of brands. Some of which should outperform the OEM 19 inchers Why Chrysler used a different size, other than an exact match is still beyond me.
  10. from the canadian Dodge website, it states the 3 different tire sizes. 255/70/16 >>>255/65/17>>>225/55/19 my question conserns the 4.4% diameter difference between the 19" and either the 17"or 16" as these both have the exact dimensions do you recon that the speedo is calibrated accordingly? seeing as the 19" wheels are an option with the SXT trim What's your take on this????
  11. Hi, here's a tip. When filling up, and the gas pump shuts off automatically, it is wise not to add any more fuel as there's a charcoal canister filter in the tank to aid with emissions.(gas fumes) if you saturate this charcoal filter with fuel, you may not be able to restart your vehicle. Cheers, Ron
  12. Cornwall, Ontario 2010 White R/T without NAV or Moonroof (all the rest though) took delivery October 29th 2010 no mods ....(yet)
  13. sometimes the switch contacts or motor contacts get dirty, try hitting the arm rest with the side of your fist, it could dislodge the dirt, and free up the contacts. I believe the culprit is on the motor itself. if this works, run your windows down and up weekly to prevent a recurrence it's worked for me on my 05 Magnum every time. mostly my rear windows as they don't get cycled enough. hope this helps
  14. I use saddle soap and a soft brush, just follow the the instructions on the bottle. it has glycerine in it and works fabulously with zero smell
  15. saw a few photos here http://www.media.chrysler.com/image-gallery.do?imageGalleryId=409&mid=254&method=view
  16. The locking lug nut will NOT affect the balance, haven't compared the weight difference between the two, but the fact that it's near the ceter of the wheel should not cause you any worries. the alignment is NOT affected either. I've got the mopar locking nuts as equiped from the dealer, (they came with the vehicle) hope this helps cheers
