  2. I think that would depend on the offset of the wheel. I don't know what offset we have on our stock wheels. sorry i can't be more helpful,
  3. is the hose rupturing or is it coming apart from the fitting?
  4. keep in mind that there is a flex agent present in the paint, for use on the moulded bumpers. without the flex agent the paint would crack if the bumper flexes.
  5. the idea has been discussed on other forums I frequent, but to my knowledge it hasn't been acheived.
  6. Hi and welcome!!! nice rides you there. I like the blacked out viper wheels on your Ram as well as the subtle hood stripe. cheers

  8. POLICY: Reimbursable within the provisions of the warranty. doubt we'll see much if any reimbursement thanks for sharing
  9. parking brake is hand operated too. we have the pedal operated park brake here in No. America.
  10. Not the dealership's fault, they don't work for Chrysler. It's not the first time that Mother Mopar has skimped on brakes. Best bet is to look into some after-market pads and rotors. that's what I plan on doing when the time comes. from what I gather (in a nut shell) Chrysler is under contract with the brake manufacturer and will buy from them until the contract expires, or the manufacturer can't supply the parts, or the parts are found to be defective. Dealerships are under contract with Chrysler to sell Mopar parts/products. Technicians who work on your car are paid on a flat rate basis (they don't get paid unless they are working on a vehicle) the counter person, be it, parts or service advisor get a commision for the parts sold If you like the service at your dealership, my advice would be to purchase the after-market brakes yourself and have the dealership do the work or get one of the techs to perform the work on his own time and avoid the dealership's hourly rate. cheers
  11. I've got 16" wheels on the RT. without any troubles. Just make sure that they clear the brakes. had an old set from Canadian Tire that would not fit over the brake calipers.
  12. the message is an algorithm based program that measures duty cycles, ( cold climates, short trips, stop and go traffic) will all shorten the time between oil changes. I think the 10000 km is merely a failsafe number that the industry uses. Change you oil or risk voiding your warranty

    Floor mats

HUSKY LINERS or weather Tech are both excellent choices for witer mats
  14. right in the range as far as I'm concerned. I had an employee discount which covers all options and your waranty is the same cost as the discounted one i purchased. happy motoring
  15. http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html check that site for tires that are within 3% of the oem tires 255/50-19 >>>>41 choices $172 and up 245/55-19>>>>>>4 choices $177 to $186 255/55-19>>>>>>13 choices $171 to $254 ***** exact size as the 16" and 17" found these on Tire Rack's http://www.tirerack.com/index.jsp?s_kwcid=TC|21306|tire%20rack||S||5463332888& website. a bit expensive but at least there is a variety of brands. Some of which should outperform the OEM 19 inchers you may not have a tire rack store in the uk, but it will show you the different options available. Still sucks if you need to buy tires if only 1 needs replacing
  16. Welcome to the forums!! By all means you can mix the two grades of gas, but it's recommended that you use 89 octane. from the owner's manual FUEL REQUIREMENTS 2.4L Engine All engines are designed to meet all emissions regulations and provide excellent fuel economy and performance when using high-quality unleaded regular gasoline having an octane rating of 87. The use of premium gasoline is not recommended, as it will not provide any benefit over regular gasoline in these engines. 3.5L Engine The 3.5L engine is designed to meet all emissions regulations and provide satisfactory fuel economy and performance when using high-quality unleaded gasoline having an octane range of 87 to 89. The manufacturer recommends the use of 89 octane for optimum performance. The use of premium gasoline is not recommended, as it will not provide any benefit over regular gasoline in these engines.
  17. The Road Force balancing is pretty involved, matches the high spot of the wheel to the low spot of the tire. Might be that the wheels are, or have become, mishapped or the the steel belts have shifted in the tires. Obviously someone (dealer or tire manufacturer) is giving you the run-around. The dealers are not employed by Chrysler, so I figure they would only warranty their work. But they can tell you if a new Journey with Khumo Tires have a warranty card. If indeed it is the tires, I think the tire manufacturer would be on the hook for warranty claims. That being said, I also think your dealer should assist you in making the tire warranty claim against Khumo. Ask the service adviser to assist in starting the claim. Hope this story has a happy ending good luck with your plight Cheers
  18. Can the dealer reproduce the problem? If so, ask if they'd be willing to TRY OUT 4 new wheels/tires to determine if that (the wheels/tires) are the culprits. If that cures the problem, have them waranty the lot. Presuming you still have wartanty available
  19. welcome, I'm hoping that come replacement time for tires, there will be a few more choices available. enjoy you ride, and Happy Motoring cheers.
  20. Looks like a larger Caliber, Just like GM to copy styling from Chrysler.

  23. Hi and welcome, sounds like you've had a few test mules in your day, and discovered their growing pains that accompany many first run vehicles.
  24. chimes only when ON (no chime in AUTO mode) if you leave the lights on AUTO mode and use the wipers, the headlights should come on (unless you disable the feature) from th eowners manual Headlights with Wipers (Available with Automatic Headlights Only) When this feature is active, the headlights will turn on approximately 10 seconds after the wipers are turned on if the multifunction lever is placed in the AUTO position. In addition, the headlights will turn off when the wipers are turned off if they were turned on by this feature. The Headlights with Wipers feature can be turned on or off through the Electronic Vehicle Information Center (EVIC) (if equipped). Refer to “Electronic Vehicle Information Center (EVIC)/Customer-Programmable Features” in “Understanding Your Instrument Panel” for further information.
