  1. I would tend to agree with Rolly, the DVD is a sensitive thing so unhooking your battery for 15-30 minutes to see if it resets might be where I would start. Terry
  2. Congrats on your purchase and welcome to the forum, there is a huge amount of knowledge here and everyone is very friendly and willing to share. Terry
  3. I have a 2010 Dodge Journey R/T AWD and the EVIC is always out, since day 1 I have always religiously kept track on my fuelly on both my vehicles. The results can be seen below. Terry
  4. Toyo Proxes 4, IMO are a very good tire I put them on my convertible PT Cruiser, not that it was anywhere closer to being an asphalt agitator, but they had a great ride, looked great, handled well and had a very good wear guarantee. I may put them on my Saturn Sky once the Good Years are done. Terry
  5. I always use www.fuelly.com to calculate my mileage, my vehicle is like yours the EVIC seems a little generous. Terry
  6. I would definately agree, it looks great when clean and waxed but a real PITA to keep it the way. I had a black Grand Caravan that seemed to take forever to wax and a black PT Cruiser convertible that was much easier, but then again I had so much less to clean and wax. Terry
  7. Hmmmmmm.......... 2 inches is considered just a light dusting here. Terry
  8. Thanks for your comments, If necessary I can get the Mopar number of these tubes. Terry
  9. Believe it or not I purchased them at Walmart. I originally I bought them my convertible PT Cruiser and just never installed them. I sold the car and they laid around the garage for several years when I decided to use them and put them on my Journey. I don't mind them at all but they are a very personal taste. Terry
  10. Very true........ Terry
  11. Thanks Rolly, personally I have been spared, luckily, but you are correct, it has been a weird year weather wise out here. We have had so much rain and tornadoes that we are really worried about things. A little known fact is that Regina is still home to Canada's deadliest tornado, (28 dead) way back in 1912. There are numerous photos on Facebook as well as all the news sites of the conditions here at the moment. Terry
  12. After I wrote that post I thought that 36 was on the door tag, sorry Bramfrank. I am at work and wasn't close to my Journey to see what was specified. Terry
  13. I certainly not saying you are wrong, IMO this seems a weeeee bit to high for my liking but to each his own. It would definately help the mileage aspect of it. Maybe it's just all the potholes around here that would make me worry about such pressures. I have a Saturn Sky with 245/45/18 tires and I know I wouldn't go any lower with regards to aspect ratio with our roads. Terry
  14. Unfortunately I would rather do the math because my EVIC is consistently wrong........ While I am on the subject, do others feel their EVIC is way out, just curious. Terry
  15. Remember our gallon is 25% larger....... Terry
  16. When I replaced the Kumho's on my 2010 R/T AWD I went from Kumho 225/55/19 to Michelin Latitude HP 235/55/19 which were much more prevalent. Really there is only a 10mm difference in width and I ended up putting them on my stock wheels, they worked well and I have had no problems in 8 months. There have been some people on this forum who had problems so they may want to chime in here. Terry
  17. Personally I have side tubes on my car (see photo) and they look great IMO, I have to admit they have changed how I enter and exit the car. It seems that I have a much larger step into the car and I always seem to rub my pant leg on it when exiting. I seriously would not recommend these for your daughter. I have a Golden Retriever who can have problems with these tubes, I am very watchful of him entering and exiting the car. Running Boards would probably help her entering and exiting the car. Terry
  18. I must admit I have had to boost my 2010 2 or 3 times. It seems to happen where I go away for 2 weeks, my dealer tells me that there is so much electrical drain this is normal. Terry
  19. Maybe age is catching up to me too...... I have something similar, ever since I removed the kayak carriers from the roof and used my trailer for them, my car has become very quiet with the sunroof open especially on the highway, so much so I have left my sunroof open on several occasions. Terry
  20. Very interesting article, thanks. Terry
