  1. You said that to your wife, and you are still here to talk about it? Terry
  2. You know too me to well...... I'm begining to wonder about spring let alone summer ever appearing. I really would like to go kayaking, my trailer is ready, my gear is ready. Shame on you bigtsr, I have a Saturn Sky not a Pontiac Solstice Just teasing yah! Hey I was just noticing your fuel economy in your Dodge Journey is much better than mine. Terry
  3. No kidding..........I've had a low of 9.3 twice on the highway Terry
  4. I'm with Rolly, what time would you like me to show up and do I need to bring anything? I'm guessing my invite is still in the mail ;-) Terry
  5. Welcome aboard, here is my 2010 Journey. Terry
  6. Welcome aboard John , lots of good info here. Terry
  7. Welcome to the forums Terry
  8. Welcome here from Regina. Terry
  9. A Bug Deflector seems to work on both bugs and protects my hood somewhat from rocks on the many gravel roads I travel on. Just my opinion though........ Terry
  10. I have had one since day one and IMO it is very worthwhile, have had them on every vehicle in the past 25 years. Terry
  11. I myself am from western Canada, the great plains or prairie, in summer wheatfields as far as you can see, Saskatchewan (you all know the place, easy to draw very hard to pronounce) I have a 2010 Journey and so far it has been a terrific vehicle. It seems to be much more popular here than south of the 49th. Probably stems from marketing. Terry
  12. It's odd, I have said this before and I will say it again, after many vehicles, mostly red, blue or back, this is my first white one and I am happier with it than I was when I bought it. Yes, many people would say it is a vanilla (no pun intended) colour but in all honesty it is very easy to take care of and within reason does not show when it is dirty. We all have some preferences when it comes to colour and for me white was probably around 5th or 6th, but after having it a while I really do like it a lot. I have had numerous darker vehicles but IMO white seems to be good. Terry
  13. I'll be the first person to tell you I only have a 2010 Journey R/T which has a much smaller screen for it's GPS, my question is how large do you need? I'm not saying it is wrong and I could be accused of having some jealousy of the larger screen, but it does go back to " how large do you need?" I have my OEM GPS, in my Journey, I have both a Garmin 250W with a 5" screen and a new Garmin 2495 with a 5.5" Screen for my Sky and they serve me well. Just curious that's all........ Terry
  14. It is interesting, but Hemi Vehicles all seem to be rear wheel drive and would need a huge adaption to make it a front wheel drive vehicle, and as Bigstr said anything is possible if you throw enough money at it. I would think the Journey would suffer from severe torque steer with a hemi. Terry
  15. An interesting scenario, when I bought my 2010 Journey R/T it came with the cross members already on it. Terry
  16. I put 19" Michelin HP Latitudes on my 2010 Journey, they were 235/55/19 tires. No problems whatsoever. Terry
  17. I also have a white Journey, first white car I have ever owned, and I like it more now than when I bought it. Terry
  18. True it was a great vehicle and I was a litle sorry to sell it, but this is what replaced it. I was in a car show last September and I always had people wanting to take a photo of it, refer to the reflection in the bumper. Terry
  19. I would agree, I had a black Dodge Caravan and a PT Cruiser convertible that were both black and they were both a nightmare to keep clean and wax. Terry
